silva_glambert Instagram has 4 still photos of Adam in BR. If anyone knows how to bring those over to the thread...that would be awesome. It would have been awesome had there been a capture of the last non verbal movement prior to retreating inside the washroom...but guess I will have to see the movie a second time to imprint that in my memory bank. I thought it was either well directed or an awesome move on Adam's part. It seemed so "sly". I can't bring over IG pics either. Wish she had that last glance shot as well...that's the pose we need to analyze.. www.instagram.com/p/Bpt9UgOBqm_/

This is very well done and great for the country community to chime in. Queen and Fox have really made this movie an multi-faceted event from this to the song covers. My theater had Rami talking about something - selling pop or asking people to be quiet - nah I think it was more than that but I thought the movie was starting early and I've forgotten what it was.

The Awards tonight definitely involved A listers. Hugh Jackman was there. One wonders if Adam may have made a connection to chat about his stay in Hugh's home while on X-Factor Australia. 😁...It certainly would have been a great opener to introduce himself! Pretty cool actually!

Before the movie started Rami came on and thanked everyone for coming to watch the movie. I thought it was really sweet. Don't remember his exact words but they were appreciative.

It was something about all of the people involved in making a movie and then thank you for being a fan I believe. Maybe I don’t pay attention that much to other films but this movie has some brilliant marketing and promo behind it. I’m assuming most of that is the studio but the Queen machine has to be influencing that as well. Also, in talking about movie prices, LA is nuts. I went to 4 different theaters and paid 4 different prices from $13.79 today for an IMAX matinee to $15.75 for a regular matinee to $18 for an evening regular showing to $21.99 for an evening IMAX showing.

I think there must be a disagreement over the type of music again. His adamofficial page is still copywrited to WarnerBros and has been scrubbed of any information about Adam. It is a blank slate as far as who he is, what he's ever done. There's a name and the store has some very generic for sale items. So you wonder are they trying to put pressure on him? - scrub him from WarnerBros artist site, scrub his own personal site. Do as we say or else? Or maybe it's Adam going in and scrubbing WB out and buying another hollywood mansion and showing he doesn't need them. Whatever it is I think there are lawyers involved and we are not getting anything soon...... unless he got a signing bonus from somebody else and they are waiting it all out. Timeline: Jan 2015 - Adam signs with Warner Bros www.hollywoodreporter.com/earshot/adam-lambert-signs-warner-bros-764182June 2018 - Adam no longer on WarnerBros artist page Since we think he signed for two records maybe it was a four year deal (2 years per record) Here's an article on why not to sign a record deal indepreneur.io/blog/5-reasons-never-sign-record-deal/ . I do wonder about #5 these days. Not sure if someone like Adam would get "intentionally shelved" as in point #5 of "5-reasons-never-to-sign..." - I think he is not generic enough for that. However, this excerpt from reason #3 really made me wonder: "...A product that 'isn’t for everybody' is a marketers dream… …and a major record labels worst nightmare." Could Adam be stuck in the middle? My daughter just told me to not worry. Quote: "Adam is an air sign and he's not meant to be stuck in a box... it will all work out." The #5 I worry about - being shelved, isn't about being generic it's about having someone else on the roster that fits the same bill and I worry that the labels peg Adam into - gay man and there are so many up and comers in that category that are gayer. Yeah, I know, all the cliches but we are talking record labels here and he's getting older and they are all younger. So if you only have so many slots, what happens when that one pigeon hole is already filled? And then to your number 3 - not generic enough. Doesn't fit the box for 5 but still too much for middle america. Which is the same place we've worried about him for a decade. And that's when he get's pushed into remaking covers because that's a safe bet, well within Ring of Fire safety levels. Known songs to make him more generic.

In talking about BR Brian and Roger always said they wanted it to be the story of THE MUSIC. The creation of the band and the music. Plus a tribute to Freddie. They have been clear from the beginning that they were not interested in a salacious expose of Freddie's private life. Which makes sense. They are MUSICIANS, after all. The music and the performance are their focuses and pride, always.
Critics who are criticizing the movie for not delving more deeply into the seamy, private side wanted a different movie than Brian and Roger ever were interested in making. Brian and Roger prevailed, and made the movie they envisioned. They also know their audience very well by now. They knew the kind of movie their fans would enjoy. The huge success of the movie debut has validated and rewarded their vision and their commitment. I am thrilled.
Also, the success makes it even more likely that we will get another Queen + Adam tour in 2019. Fine by me!

I LOVED Bohemian Rhapsody, more than I expected! I cried quite a few times and was engrossed. I saw in IMAX and the music was fabulous. As others have said, everyone sat through the credits while they showed actual concert footage of Queen as it was so mesmerizing. At the end of our showing, I guy stood up a few rows down and yelled something like "Wasn't that awesome guys" to which most of us clapped. I think that they should capitalize on the success of the movie worldwide and announce a tour ASAP, now is the time!
