I'm wondering if without QAL Adam would be successful on his own. Have you heard his songs on the radio recently?every buzz around him is Queen related. I love his voice but being completely honest I don't like his music, maybe besides WDYWFM ( Pink's song). I dont think you get the purpose of this site. Like his music. Dont llike his music, well might nt be a fan. OR trolling Would Adam be succesfull wiithout Queen? Well without the success of his solo career. He prob would of not been in a position to work with Queen. Ghost Town was his biggest hit. He prob wouldent be doing stadiums without QAL. But like I said he had a succesfull solo career before Queen. And his last solo tour in 2015-2016. Was succesful. Elaevan’s question has merit even though many may choose not to consider it. Do you really think if he had blown up big with the first album, like Sam or Shawn did, he would even be doing the Queen thing? I think not. Queen filled a void financially, emotionally, visibly, and to some extent creatively when the going got rocky. That is a good thing for Adam in many ways but it also has its drawbacks. Without Queen would he have been hungrier, would he have explored other avenues, other visions, other paths to be heard? So many unknowns but one thing is certain, if you have no music out no one will hear it.

You all are getting to emotional. I'm only asking because I wanna know what other fans think. Simple as that. I couldn't get through all his songs so maybe I've missed some music masterpiece. I've listened his albums recently, maybe 8, 4 years ago it was a fresh original sound now it's not. Don't get me started on the lyrics....

I think we have to stop grading his success and just say he is successful. His career is many things. He is well known around the world. He is respected and people do love him. Follow him or not, it's a personal choice! I know I'm here for the long haul!

I see no drawbacks, so I’d like to hear what they are in your view.

Yes Queen gave him more financial security and that his why he makes choices for himself and his livelihood instead of following the advice of fans who have no skin in the game. There are many artists who don't have Queen and devote all their time to their solo careers. Guess what, many are playing to 200 people in a club with no radio play. That was not Adam. He has headlined world tours on his own name even with tepid radio support. Not big as Queen but not ignored either. I don't get the attitude that if not for Queen, Adam would have a career like Mendes. Mendes would not have the career he has if he had to face ongoing discrimination and radio slow walking his singles and exposure. Adam is working on his music and he will put it out when he can. Why piss on him for something he may not have control over?

Most fans would know that Adam had gold/platinum albums and singles in multiple counties before he joined Queen. He had two of his solo tours before that made him 6mil. and 5mil after expenses and before taxes. We never got the amount for TOH tour but it was likely in the same ballpark. He was on the Forbes list of highest earning Idols for five years in a row before they stopped doing the list for Idols. He topped that list after joining Queen but he was on it every year before he joined. He got a Grammy nomination and won awards in China, Canada, Hungry, Australia and several LGBT awards in the US and UK. He has had 2 albums at #3 on the Billboard 200 and one was #1. He is not the biggest artist or most successful out there but I think fans would view him a success in his own right. And fronting Queen elevated that success no doubt but it was with his talent and showmanship playing arenas all over the world. He was not some spectator on the sidelines. People were cheering for him as they were for the rest of the band cause it is a collaboration. As for music on the radio, he has had music on the radio from all three albums. When he releases album 4 most likely he will be on the radio again. I support Adam and his career. Solo, Queen, acting and anything else. And I think he has some very good music on his albums. Hope it gets even better. I'm aware of that now but my point is that only fans know that kind of stuff 99% of people don't. Most know him through Queen not his solo music. I could hear on the radio old songs but not his, how come if he's so successful? 'Very good music on his album'- such as? I'm curious which one is a piece of a very good music That make no sense. They mention his #1 album and Grammy nomination all the time. He gets invited to high profile events around the world because they know who he is. Every media outlet was talking about him when he topped the Forbes list ahead of Carrie Underwood. Whenever articles are written about the most successful Idol, it is almost always, Carrie, Kelly, Jhud and Adam. He has a reported net worth of 20 million and it was made from his solo and Queen career cause it is all his career. Doesn't matter who dislikes it or him or dismisses his accomplishments. His fans want more for his solo career but we are not ignorant of the success that he has. And we don't get to make his career choices so getting mad about his choices is useless.
