I think we have to stop grading his success and just say he is successful. His career is many things. He is well known around the world. He is respected and people do love him. Follow him or not, it's a personal choice! I know I'm here for the long haul! he's not well known around the world, please. Oh but he is, and he's well respected and liked. Sorry if that doesn't fit with your blinkered view.

Elaevan’s question has merit even though many may choose not to consider it. Do you really think if he had blown up big with the first album, like Sam or Shawn did, he would even be doing the Queen thing? I think not. Queen filled a void financially, emotionally, visibly, and to some extent creatively when the going got rocky. That is a good thing for Adam in many ways but it also has its drawbacks. Without Queen would he have been hungrier, would he have explored other avenues, other visions, other paths to be heard? So many unknowns but one thing is certain, if you have no music out no one will hear it. No one knows that Adam would have passed up the opportunity to front Queen unless he told you that. Yes Queen gave him more financial security and that his why he makes choices for himself and his livelihood instead of following the advice of fans who have no skin in the game. There are many artists who don't have Queen and devote all their time to their solo careers. Guess what, many are playing to 200 people in a club with no radio play. That was not Adam. He has headlined world tours on his own name even with tepid radio support. Not big as Queen but not ignored either. I don't get the attitude that if not for Queen, Adam would have a career like Mendes. Mendes would not have the career he has if he had to face ongoing discrimination and radio slow walking his singles and exposure. Adam is working on his music and he will put it out when he can. Why piss on him for something he may not have control over? I got an impression that he used gay thing to stay relevant. Mainstream music equals shit music it's all about money. It's really hard to do what you want artistically when you are under contract with big label. What about making music on your own terms apart from industry? He doesn't have to worry about money, he still got Queen. Be more artist than businessmen. Of topic but I hate when his every interview is about the same questions instead of new ones.

We celebrate Adam here not tear him apart. I think we should say goodbye to the troll and not respond to any more of her ridiculous comments!

I see no drawbacks, so I’d like to hear what they are in your view. If he had blown up really big he would not have had the time for nor the need to set aside time and creative energy to tour with Queen. Might he have done a some small side projects with them for fun sure maybe so, but put aside his own voice, his own music, while filling areanas under his own name for months on end for them no, never. The drawback is my closing two sentences above but I will restate it - time and energy spent on one project means less time and energy to spend on another.

I have no plans to try and persuade you to think Adam's own music is good. You can have any opinion that you want. I will say, you have made similar comments on this board already and made your opinion quite clear. I don't think you need to repeat every few days. We get it.

Why are you so negative????????? You sound more like a troll than a fan! Yes a definite troll who has worked out how to lull a few people into giving the benefit of the doubt. Go back and read the initial posts she made, absolutely no fan of Adam. I love your post. If being a fan means kisses his ass all the time than I'm not a fan.

I'm wondering if without QAL Adam would be successful on his own. Have you heard his songs on the radio recently?every buzz around him is Queen related. I love his voice but being completely honest I don't like his music, maybe besides WDYWFM ( Pink's song). I like many of Adam's songs from every album (including some bonus tracks like "Down The Rabbit Hole", "Voodoo", "Runnin") but none of them were picked as singles. My daughter absolutely loves "Ghost Town" and I like it too but when I think of favorite Adam songs Shady, Chokehold, Runnin, Original High, come to mind, to name a few. I think his new label needs to trust his more left of center/eccentric side. It's fabulous!

If being a fan means kisses his ass all the time than I'm not a fan. I think we get it. You are not a fan. And as for Adam using the "gay thing" well that is his sexuality. He could not help that the media and some others used it against him at every turn. But good for him for saying I am who I am and don't care if it bothers you. And good for him for not letting the "experts" try to run his career. He will never be big enough for some but I'm sure he has a bigger and more lucrative career than those always complaining about him not doing what they want him to do and the way they want him to do it.
