Man, Adam is brilliant handling these comments. Whether it is trolls or super-demanding fans or both, Adam is brilliant and disarming, gracious and charming. So much can be learnt from him. I hope he does not let some of the more ridiculous comments get to him, though. Hope he recognizes them and their writers for what they are. Bunch of individuals with problems.
Preparing for concert ticket hunting. Thursday will be upon us quickly.
Very happy fan here, so much happening on so many fronts. What a great day to be a Glambert.

I think I need to move back to Mississippi! I get Phoenix and LA but nothing else close. Looks like some flying in my future. Nice that NOLA, Pittsburgh and Columbus are on the list this time. No Montreal? The Tacoma Dome could be a great pick because the acoustics there are great. I have to do some work on planning this one. How do you know that the Tacona Dome acoustics are great? Any other venues you think have great acoustics? I have been to many concerts there - I used to live in Seattle. (Yes, I have moved a lot.) It is an unusual arena venue because of the dome shape and material -- it is made out of wood, not metal and concrete.
I am not sure if it is a good place to record, but it is a good place to hear a concert -- particularly good for loud music.
According to wiki, it is the largest arena with a wooden dome in the world when measured by volume.
***
I have not been to a concert there for over 10 years so they may have changed something. And they are renovating it now so I am not sure if it is still the same.
But I am sure it is still wood.
***
ETA: I finally had time to go through the venue list. All the rest are pretty standard arenas.
For sound, the one venue I avoid that is on the tour is Chicago United Center -- it has an echo because it was built to make the hockey crowds loud to replicate "The Roar" – the din of noise that made Chicago Stadium famous, especially during hockey games.
My QAL experience is that the Madison Square Garden, New York show will have some extra energy -- and also the most expensive tickets on resale. And LA has been very good to great in the past for QAL and Adam shows.
The QAL and Toronto shows have had amazing audiences.
Overall, this is a really good set of venues and markets. Lots of improvements over the last tour. Like Columbus instead of Cleveland. But still no Miami concert. :(
Finally, there looks like there is room to add 5 or 6 more concerts in North America. I expect a second NY-area concert will be added.

Do any of you gals remember making a pie years ago with cream cheese and something else and when it was done you put a can of cherries on top. I can't remember how I made it, whether I cooked it, or what I did but everyone loved it. I remember it being a popular pie but I don't remember anything else. Anybody out there remember the recipe. Cook or not cook. I don't even remember that, This has nothing to do with Adam but there are so many my age out there, one of you must still have a memory or two. Don't know if anyone got back to you but I googled it and this is what I got. Directions In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sweetened condensed milk, blending well. Add lemon juice and vanilla until well blended. Pour into pie crust and chill 3 hours, or until firm. Add cherry filling on top of pie. You can also use blueberry, or strawberry pie filling. So if I'm interpreting Adam correctly, and if all goes as planned, we will get A4 and single before the QAL tour? Or at least that's what he's hinting? And, depending on the success of A4, we could get a solo tour late 2019? We don't know how big the whole QAL tour is, but it certainly won't be just the US, I'm guessing.

Adam has toured for all of his albums. US was short changed (except for 12 or so one-offs in the US) for Trespassing but probably because he had already left the label. But acts tour all the time even if the albums are not a big success. P2 sold less that 5k albums and he toured. Has been dropped from Interscope and is still touring. Daughtry's album did not do much but he announced a tour before the album dropped and is still touring. If Adam wants to, he will tour. Who knows, maybe he will do something different this time and announce a tour around the time of album release. Many others do.

I think it is reasonable to expect a single before the US QAL tour, but I am not counting on anything else. Adam did hint at complex business logistics and we do not know currently how much the US QAL tour will expand to other countries. I personally would rather be pleasantly surprised than disappointed, and I always cringe when fans put extra pressure on Adam on social media. I am sure that Adam himself wants to release new music too, but he would be foolish to not take advantage of joining forces with Queen yet again, especially as there is renewed interest in them now. And we still do not know if there are label issues. I am happy to take Adam in any form right now and I have no doubt that there is kickass Adam music in store for us.
