Hmmmm .... TheXFactorUSA: @bengoria We love Adam too. So much so that we sport black eyeliner in his honor all day, every day! #Glambert #XFUSA This..is not true, it's just has to be true? Simon's show? um..I don't think so..Is this really XFUSA Account?! Yes, it's true. Why wouldn't it be? It's the official XFactor twitter. Why would Simon bear any animosity toward him? He's a legit notch in Simon's Talent Spotter belt. Also, RCA gets the winner of XF, RCA artists will be the go-tos for the show. ETA: Also Adam's success helps legitimize the validity of these shows right now that are coming through fast and furious, but the winners/runners haven't done so well. Adam is one of the strongest indications that a competition show CAN lead to stardom right now.

Lazy reporters are going to be lazy, but part of his management's job is to give them talking points. It was bad enough when they were recycling information that was a few months old and like it or not, the AMAs DID gain him notoriety. Also being the first out pop star did as well. These are going to be things that they needed to focus on. And even though WE had heard the stuff ad nauseum, the reporter or editor for a regional publication or a regional DJ is going to assume the vast majority of their readers/listeners are getting this information for the first time. I think the talking points his management will set forth are: • The creation process, collabs, etc. • The determination to write the album himself • The autobiographical aspects of the songs (which he has already mentioned) His love life WILL be asked about. Sorry, that is ALWAYS a question they ask celebrities, especially unmarried ones. They will ask him too and I'm sure Adam will say very sweetly he is happy and in a committed relationship and everything is great. He won't go into detail but I doubt he'd shrink from saying Sauli's name and the production segments are likely to show photos of he and Sauli together that are in the public domain anyway. Sigh. Hope you're right, susie. Maybe we should compile our own list of must have/dying to know thoughtful questions and have them ready to send out at a moment's notice. Last time there were a lot of interviewers who requested listeners to tweet questions... We should have them ready!!!

So much so that we sport black eyeliner in his honor all day, every day! #Glambert #XFUSA Probably wishful thinking on my part, but when I first watched the last Tutka I thought that Sauli seemed interested in the upcoming X Factor, in a way that he sometimes isn't about a lot of the other shows they discuss. It made me wonder if Adam's already been booked on the show so Sauli has a special reason to follow the program. I just rewatched that part and my first impression didn't quite hold up, but I'm sticking with it anyway! And I think Adam following both Missy and Timbaland (and will.i.am) at the same time has to mean something. So excited!!

Also, didn't I read that Claude Kelly has been named to some position at XF regarding selecting guest talent? I read somewhere else that Claude Kelly wrote Can't Let You Go for Adam because he was in awe of his voice. Am I right on any of this?

Just a guess on the will.i.am follow, but isn't he also a mentor on Majors & Minors? Not sure about the timing on the other two.

It's just that other then American Idol and the Voice, I didn't think that XFactor would bert over Adam, it's all. And although Simon just loved Adam when he was on American Idol, I just didn't think that Adam was much on Simon's radar, since his success didn't match the incredibly, way out of reach, expectations that people had placed on Adam right out of the gate. And I don't know much about Simon, but Simon always seemed to me to only really tote the people that have like meteoric rises, like Susan Boyle, Carrie Underwood etc.... But I agree Adam is like the model contestant now of how they seem to want contestants to be like on these shows now.

Last time there were a lot of interviewers who requested listeners to tweet questions... We should have them ready!!! Wouldn't hurt, but some things are always going to be true. Salacious sells. (The old adage in journalism, If it bleeds, it leads ...) Just like without conflict, there would be no drama. Those things are never going to change. They were fascinating to people from the beginning of time, they still are and probably always will be. The thing is, Adam is a master at seeming controversial or risque on the surface, but in actuality, is almost the opposite. Once they start talking to him, they realize that he is so articulate and down to earth. That's why talk shows love him so much. He never shirks away from their questions, he always gives them what THEY need and he handles even the most intrusive questions with humor and perfect etiquette. His promo rounds between AI, then U.S. and international were brutal and he only vented that one time. I can't imagine him having to do THAT many in a row this time around. A decent scandal would likely result in some additional coverage, sad to say. I don't think he'll need it though. (However, if you do, Adam, some accidentally leaked nekkid pics always work )

A lot of people seem to think that Simon would not want Adam on his show which always confuses me. ETA: I get what you mean about Simon wanting to lay claim on the people who skyrocket. I sometimes wonder if he is a little frustrated because he went out of AI on such a low note. Season 9 was arguably the worst ever and some of that had to do with how badly it paled in comparison to 8 (although I still don't think it would have been great in the grand scheme of things either way). I think Simon was extremely frustrated at the end.
