Interesting, Tacoma has tons of seats left. I remember they sold poorly in Pacific Northwest with Paul Rodgers, but QAL sold well in Seattle last year. I'm sure it will sell well closer to the date. Interesting, there is a similar phenomenon happening there that I see happening in the Dallas tickets which I have been watching. There are large blocks of seats which at first seemed odd to me, but then I realized that they are the furthest out section of a price block. Behind, where the seats are cheaper, they are well sold. In Tacoma it is squarer because of the arena configuration. In Dallas it is an almost circular wave moving it's way toward the back. I can see the relentless progression in Dallas between last night and this morning. Where the wave has passed, there are just single seats and not many of those. My guess is that more people, not necessarily ardent fans, in larger groups are buying best available in a price range and not picking and choosing seats. Regardless, Tacoma looks pretty well sold to me and as you said will get even better closer to the date. Or maybe like Dallas will just continue the wave progression.

I have tickets for my hometown of Atlanta! I got them first thing yesterday when general admission opened up. I needed 4 together, and it was difficult to find except in the nose bleed or the rich people sections. I was surprised that they sold so many in the presale, as I thought they normally held a lot back. I went to check on availability this AM and there are now only a few random single tickets in the general admission sections (except for a few multiples in the upper, outer space tiers). And a few multiples in the $500+ area. Atlanta is almost completely sold out! Yay! I just looked at the map too. Kinda funny looking....the singles randomly sprinkled out in the lower bowl like a few little polka dots. Glad you were able to get 4 together. Just checked Nashville and Charlotte and they are selling...but not as fast as Atlanta. QAL probably should have done ATL in 2017.

I think there are a lot more people looking for tickets, overall, but especially in less 'rich' areas, they are priced out of the market. Nashville, ATL, Charlotte, is pretty good coverage for a region, and outside of ATL, salaries are not so high that the higher priced tickets are flying off the shelf.
I see the same thing in Pittsburgh. First of all, having concerts in Pittsburgh, Columbus, and Detroit, as well as obviously PHL and Washington, makes for strong venue coverage for the region. In the bigger cities, the tickets sell, but in Pittsburgh, only the cheap tickets are sold, and the more expensive ones are still available in large numbers. People want to go, but they cannot afford those prices.

I looked last night also...as Tacoma would be my add on show if I think I can manage a second show after Vancouver. But....also, if I remember correctly, the Tacoma venue is considerably larger than many...which may account for the tickets still available. And...there are more than in a number of other places but it is still well over 80% sold on the first day so not that shabby. I did not do an extensive search as I have a lot going on the next few weeks [don't we all] but from what I saw, there are far fewer resale tickets available....which is awesome. Have others found that too?

Are we talking about actual tickets or about a confirmation about a purchase transaction?
A confirmation email for a purchase should arrive immediately, not a week later. Tickets are a different story, though, they come much later. If you called by phone and did not give an email, then any confirmation will have to come by mail. The confirmation should contain the exact seat numbers and the agreed upon price and any associated trade conditions (i.e. how ticket is delivered, what conditions for re-sale are, etc) This is just proof of purchase. The actual ticket may be delivered later, in fact, I would not know where Dec 15 comes from in this context. The concert is more than half a year away.
Otherwise, what is the organization you purchased from, so somebody can help you out further?

I'm trying something new and gut-wrenching with the Rhapsody Tour........waiting until a few days beforehand and buying my tickets directly from the venue. Fortunately, the Tour will be playing in major cities very close to me and I'll be able to physically go over to the venue's ticket office. I'm operating on the theory that very good seats become available the last few days beforehand and at reasonable prices. I have been extremely fortunate to have gotten front row seats the two times I attended QAL - paid a fair amount but not too much as I made my purchases during the fan presale - so, I feel like this may be a good time to experiment......I won't feel entirely gut punched if the experiment doesn't play out as I hope it will. I say that now but there is a side of me that may be frantically searching resale sites as the tour dates get closer. Has anyone here waited until the bitter end to find a ticket?
