Somehow I don't think Brian and Roger do anywhere near the amount of partying now as they did in the old days. And I suspect that Brian was never as big into the partying as Roger was. @tinapglambert: I Love this part! Well then...Cheers Gentlemen! 🥳🥃☺️🙌🏼🍾🎉🎸🤘🏼🤩 Love ya! #QAL ❤️ twitter.com/tinapglambert/status/1071296714965946368

I'm trying something new and gut-wrenching with the Rhapsody Tour........waiting until a few days beforehand and buying my tickets directly from the venue. Fortunately, the Tour will be playing in major cities very close to me and I'll be able to physically go over to the venue's ticket office. I'm operating on the theory that very good seats become available the last few days beforehand and at reasonable prices. I have been extremely fortunate to have gotten front row seats the two times I attended QAL - paid a fair amount but not too much as I made my purchases during the fan presale - so, I feel like this may be a good time to experiment......I won't feel entirely gut punched if the experiment doesn't play out as I hope it will. I say that now but there is a side of me that may be frantically searching resale sites as the tour dates get closer. Has anyone here waited until the bitter end to find a ticket? I haven't without already having a ticket. On the last tour, I was able to get front row thrust the day of the show in Omaha at a really reasonable price (thanks to Sandysva's alertness and skillz) and in Nashville, left my Silver Row 6 seat empty when they added a few front row seats at the stage on Adam's side at cheap prices three hours before the show. I have never bought a couple of days ahead of time before....but maybe that would work. In Nashville, Justwishin was watching and refreshing the TM site in the afternoon of the concert and saw where they had added a few front row seats. She called the box office and they said we'd have to physically go to the box office and we dashed over there around 4pm and paid there and got the tickets.

I tend to go to more than one concert. Here is my strategy and it has worked beautifully. I buy an inexpensive yet nice seat for a concert that I may want to go to which could be easily sold should I "buy up". Also, one I could afford to discount to be sure it does sell at the last minute. Then I watch texts, the seat maps, venue etc. A huge percentage of times I scored great seats for great prices one way or another. The times I didn't, I still had decent if not thrilling seats. Each cycle though I do buy one killer seat for one concert so I always have that.

Just got a text from my Glambert buddy who said she'd get us tickets. AND YAY! SUCCESS! We are going with a group of five to the Chicago show on August 9! So excited! They are decent seats, and yes, we paid dearly, but that's ok. I've been tempted sometimes to wait till just before a show and just buy a few tickets at the box office. Probably would work. But I just get too nervous. I'm glad that our tickets are bought. Now I can relax.
