Yep, it's Adam. No, not from American Idol. ;D It's is from the Mardi Gras celebration in Australia last year.

With 3 hrs left on the Ebay auction, the shirt currently is @ $8,700. May be interesting to tune in for showdown.

Welcome lifeguard. Beautiful avi. Excellent choice to "hijack' the site from your sister. There are very interesting and stimulating conversations daily about Adam and then there is just the flatout squeeing and flailing when something exciting happens. Stay and engage. You will never be bored here.

[quote author=susiefierce board=daily thread=49 post=8693 time=1298573963LOL, I tweeted this to Adam last night. I think he should take advantage of the depth and breadth of the expertise of this fan base and do different contests – apparel and merchandise designs, marketing, media, social networking and communications strategies.
Not saying his management isn't doing a great job, but what's the harm in reading other theoretical strategies by highly experienced individuals? It can be like a worldwide brainstorming session. Even if they don't implement any one strategy, the winners could still get a prize and all submissions would have to come with a signed release waiver and an understanding that some or parts might be incorporated into an overall plan.
It will help keep us engaged, occupied and mobilized while he's in Adam2 Creation mode.
He is trying to expand his brand and he has a tremendous brain trust of people who are invested in the brand not because it's a client, but because we personally and passionately believe in the product.[/quote]
------
It's just not that simple.
Doubt Adam's marketing team would accept any ideas without that person signing their life away first. Otherwise that passion translates to litigation down the line for a share of the profits.
(messed up quote thing. oh well, also sneaking around fr work)

I LOVE that shirt! But gelly, why'd ya cut off your face! I need to put a face on Greece! Btw, I learned a Greek phrase--from a tshirt a character was wearing in a book I finished last night: "Panta hellenike estin emoi!" Next time i'll put my face. Now its all about the t-shirt!! And about that Greek phrase woooo!!!This is ancient Greek. If i have to translate it, i have to give a free translation otherwise the meaning will be lost. This means "for me everything is Greek, or better "wherever i go i carry Greece with me". Its very difficult to explain this phrase but i'm curious what book was that?? With Child by Laurie R. King (mystery)--in it, a young schoolgirl liked wearing tshirts with ~ironic sayings. In the book they said this phrase means "it's all Greek to me" which is an American saying(any other countries say this?) people use when they don't understand something. For example...when trying to understand comlpicated explanations, like how to size an avi correctly, some might say "Help! It's all Greek to me!" (i.e., a language I can't speak/understand.) (Btw, Karen because of your CLEAR instructions, sizing an avi is no longer Greek to me! TY. Now if I could just find a new one...) And, to continue with my banana-themed bent today, I can't wait for dancey Aftermath!

Reading something like this just makes me insanely happy. So much hope for a wonderful future for Adam built into such a number. And hello and welcome back to KathleenPF. I was so glad to see you posting here today, always liked your posts over on the other site, but don't think I have seen you around much since.
