Can I just say that I'm an extreme worrywart and pessimist and I'm terrified of this second era. As much as I want new music, I'm dreading whether he will succeed or fail. After Cook's very dismal second era, I'm very worried. I know Adam has everything it takes to make it, but what if he ends up falling into the same boat as most of the idol winners do in the second era or if America is still not ready for him, especially if he doesn't hold back on stuff people will be offended by. He can't let it all hang out like the rappers or the females can so I'm wondering if he's going to sing to boys this time or what? I'm also dreading the OLFIP fan attacks if he bombs. I'll probably just crawl in a hole until it's all over. That what I did after the AMA's. I also hope Adam fans don't go overboard with the Adam storm stuff this time just in case it doesn't work. :-/ ??? See, another damn good reason that he didn't win. LOLing :

OMG!! Am watching Against The Wall on DVR, and they showed the clip for this weeks show for PR, and they said, guest judge Adam Lambert. Do they usually do that? I don't remember seeing a promo of the show before where they told who the guest judge will be for the upcoming show!!

Know what's also so very exciting about this era on CD Adam 2 (well for me anyway)? is that with this new Rico Love collab, I'm wondering if Adam will explore more of the soul side of his voice. I love all sides of his voice, broadway/musical theatre, soft and angelic, rock, bluesy/jazzy rock etc., but this side is so very rarely heard except for snippets here and there, as in the Ellen little giveaway jingle, in Nikki's box, when he sung the line from The Wiz musical etc.
Anyway, just more of my Adam musings...

I agree with mys*&@^#r... if Adam's popular/professional producers are flailing away, there's absolutely gonna be some kick-ass tracks on #2!!! And re. the opinions of OLFIP fans...

4Msrmyn - I can't imagine how much time you have spent on just this project. Atopia is so lucky to have you doing all this great stuff and posting it at this site. I had watched Michael's 5 part interview w/Adam long ago and it was very entertaining. I really didn't realize Michael was practically dragged, kicking and screaming, to recognize Adam's talent. He should just have listened to his mother! : And maybe it's my personal bias, but I always felt "We Are the Champions" really separated the men from the boys. Adam's voice was so much stronger, cleaner, everything! than Kris' - I didn't get Michael's saying how strong Kris' voice sounded in that song. Oh, well - it doesn't matter now. Anyway, thanks for all your work - you are wonderful!
