Dear Worrywart, Worrying doesn't really effect the outcome of anything. I think it only puts you in a negative place in your own head. Someone told me once that worrying is actually a sin. I don't mean to start a religious discussion. It's just that I used to think it was my responsibility to worry. Like if I thought of all the things that could go wrong, they wouldn't go wrong. I'm not talking about being prepared or getting your ducks all lined up in a row. I'm talking about general anxiety kind of worrying. You have to accept that you can't fix or change some things and let it go.

My response would be that we are all different with different levels of anxiety in us. In fact, I'm not a believer in God so sin is not something I relate to, but I do believe that anxiety levels run in the genes because the females in my family all have extreme cases of OCD which is an anxiety problem. We also have different forms of paranoid schzophrenia that runs through the females too. These are genetic diseases and my daughter is the first in our family to actually be treated medically for OCD and anxiety. I guess it kind of offends me when people flippantly say that anxiety is a sin and worrying gets you nowhere. It's really not that simple to me or my family. Just saying. :(

[borrows LindaG23's patting smiley...] don't worry, jo!!! I agree with mys*&@^#r... if Adam's popular/professional producers are flailing away, there's absolutely gonna be some kick-ass tracks on #2!!! And re. the opinions of OLFIP fans... What is OLFIP ? ??? I have not read the thread yet -- but need to comment on this. Adam has nothing in common with David Cook, Archie or even Kris (OLFIP "Our Little Friend in Plaid"). Adam is global, they are not. There is no reason to be terrified for any of them. Cook had a bit of a flop but he will get another album. Archie will be signed by someone else. Kris will do just fine. But of them all, IMO (and this is why I am here) Adam has the greatest potential to produce music that matters to me. Beyond that massive sales would be amazing, good sales would be great for Adam but no matter what happens, Adam will get a 3rd album with RCA. So even if he misses (he won't), he has been up a big bankroll at RCA already. Finally, Adam could completely miss in the US but he would still have many other markets to sell in. David Cook and Kris have to rely on US sales. Adam has a much better outlook.

Adam Lambert is NOT David Cook. I believe their careers will mirror their personalities. Adam is ON FIYAAAAA!!!! In every sense. David......... not so much. And I truly believe David is quite fine with that. YMMV
