I am just starting to "flail". I am slow to flail and slow to think the world is ending. I have been almost in a zen state about this album since the beginning. Because Adam seems so confident and powerful and filled with positive, creative energy. I just know it will all be OK and it will be amazing. And for the first time in my music life --- I really do not care what the numbers are, I do not care about the machinations of promo schedules, I just want to suck in the bits of the energy flow he chooses to share. So I guess I am now officially an OTT Adam fan. [Anyone have an asylum/GNAMFBL Addicts Center photo 'cause I guess I need to check in now.] ETA: Good GNAMFBL Day y'all!!! I understand what you mean. But I'm interested in numbers, mainly for the fact that I think the more he sells, the more creative freedom he has, and the more budget he'll have to create his creative vision that he would like for his tours and videos etc. but I also just want to see him being undeniably incredibly successful. ^^^THIS^^^ I will be an Adam fan even if he doesn't have impressive album numbers or hit singles this next era. The problem is that the world, outside of the Adam fandom, will not care as much about him. That will translate into fewer opportunities, including performing slots on tv. Low sales numbers or lack of a moderate sized hit single could mean fewer tour dates or a co-headlining tour situation. Many of the fans that "don't care about Adam's numbers", turn around to complain about opportunities that are given to other artists. Good numbers usually translate to good opportunities- one feeds the other. X Factor has announced several performers for this upcoming season. The performers are all multi-platinum album and singles artists. If we want Adam performing on the higher-rated shows and award shows, he is going to have to stay relevant in the current music scene. If their isn't a hit single(at least as big as WWFM) this era, I'm afraid some of the perks we've grown accustomed to will fall off along the way. This won't mean that Adam isn't still an extremely talented artist, it just means that some of us may need to adjust our expectations for what opportunities will come next.

adamlambert Adam Lambert Congrats @ddlovato on a great album. Your voice is nuts and the songs/production are too!! another one of the "WTF with your ears Adam"? moments. I heard her at the AGT results (?) show recently and her voice was HORRIFIC! It was sharp, super squeezed and truly screechy... I remember thinking "couldn't they get some better contestants" and then found out that it was the famous Demi Lovato... the album of course may be much better, which I will never find out anyway - great for Adam to be able to enjoy so many artists.

I look at this photo and think...Wow! Adam really seems to embrace everything he's doing 'in the moment' with so much enthusiam and joy! This is the #1 thing I admire about him. Ok, will stop spamming and try to discipline myself to attend to RL. ETA: re: Adam's tweet....deep breaths...lol

I would be very curious to know whether Adam truly liked some of these artists, or whether he was motivated more by wanting to connect with the artists and their fans. I know that we like it (understatement of the year) when someone praises Adam, and it seems to me that Adam is trying to build good will with artists with potentially overlapping fan bases. JMO.
