So will non-US fans get to hear Adam or will it be dubbed over almost everywhere? In Germany it will be dubbed for sure. All films are. The teaser trailer is already out and posted here in German. i would think, that it will be dubbed in most non-English speaking countries, because it’s a movie for young kids. Even in countries, that use to show films in the original language with subtitles, that isn’t practicable, because many kids won’t be able to read, yet. Edit: What I will hate the most: That they will most probably even record a German version of the songs used in the film. This way, I won’t hear Adam in the film at all. They did this with all the Disney movies for instance. In Israel children movies get dubbed, but we always get a non-dubbed version as well, whether for adults or English-speaking children I'm not sure, but seems there's demand. So I'm lucky that way, I'm pretty sure I'll be able to watch the original English version in the movie theatre.

Yes to All of the above.. I have a feeling that Adam is a really fine actor.. Hope we get to see that side of him... Comedy a given ,but I think drama may also be a talent. The more types of things Adam tries, and the more risks he takes to broaden his performance experiences, the better. Each thing he does shows the world more of what he is capable of. These animated films are VERY popular right now, and this one has some really big names in it. Nice job for Adam to get. I think Adam has potential as an actor if he is offered the right kinds of roles that suit his personality. He has a great sense of humor and has great timing. He also has a serious side. Hope this movie gives him a boost and brings him some attention. Glad that he has an actual character role! Great to see him build up his resume a bit. I agree with you both. Playmobil is a great step for Adam and it will give him exposure in the US and internationally. Double the exposure with an original song in the movie. He received lots of worldwide press just for his cameo in BoRap so this should give him even more. I too think he would do a fine job in a drama. He has the looks and persona that would not limit his options and the types of characters he could play, imo. It does not need to be the lead or even one of the largest parts. But expanding his reach, experience and name would be the desired goal.

I probably didn't start buying McDonald Happy Meals for my son until about 1985 onward. Maybe they were popular in 1982 in certain areas of the US....I just wasn't aware of them. Playmobil was not popular in any part of the US in 1982.
In 1986 Playmobil USA, Inc. was founded. That is when the toys were really introduced into the US. But they were a niche product back then. It is privately held company so there is not a lot of info about their sales available.
All I know is their sales in the US are not big.

The Megan Trainor song in the background of the trailer is very catchy.
