Country - Crystal Guthrie. Isn't this one already taken? I don't recall hearing a country star with that name. Could be a combo between Crystal Gayle and Arlo Guthrie? My rap name is La La Cherry. I kinda like it.

Mine is Coco Essence. Sounds like lotion. Apparently wal and I are related, because I'm Limelite Essence. Sistah friend!

For me, the most wonderful thing about this picture is actually how happy and proud Roco looks. He is just beaming, like he just saw the light. After watching that video about this studio location in Miami I have to say, this is a collaboration that is for both sides in many ways foreign terrain and musical exploration and it is very clear from Roco's tweets that he believes it worked and that they connected. That comes through for me in that picture too even though Adam seems to be still getting ready to put his camera face on or standing tall. That does not matter, somehow is is visible that two artists have met. For me, this music is far outside of what I usually listen to, but I realize that when an important message and great vocals are paired with this rhythmic beat and electronic work that this can be forward reaching in many ways. Into the future....is what I see happening here and that is exiting. I just know that I will have to grow into whatever direction Adam is going here. When Adam says that we are not ready for what he is doing (with Pharrell, but probably true here too), he is not kidding. I know I am not ready, but I am ready to begin and see where it takes me. Another important thing to consider......if it is true that the urban/rap/hip hop community is very homophobic, and it appears that it might be, then it's pretty amazing that he is working with these important artists. Go Adam!

Because I was graced with such a colorful rap name, I may have to see about getting some gigs. Dirty the Funkstress appearing for one night only!

Could I ask for some good thoughts for my Grandmother? I posted her picture on her 103rd birthday last month. She is not doing well today (she first started feeling bad yesterday). I'm not sure it is right to hope for her to "recover" if she is going to be unwell and uncomfortable, so I am just sending my thoughts out asking for whatever is best for her. If it is her time to go, let it be quick and painless. If she has more in her, then let her recover quickly and be able to enjoy any time she has left with us. Thanks. pjd of course you can . I wish for her, and for you, whatever the best outcome may be; and for this to come soon to not prolong the worry and pain.

For pjd and melliemom, loving thoughts for those you love. I LOVE this image, murly!! Sending my loving thoughts to mellimom and pjd as well. My rapper name: Pandora Violet, which reminds me of a Roald Dahl character name, or a JK Rowling character, whose names always reminded me of Roald Dahl. sugaree, Just saying, I would have a nervous freaking breakdown if I were you. I can take spiders and snakes (they do freak me out, but not on a phobic level), however cockroaches of any kind will send me around the bend. I can feel for Sauli that accidentally walking into a huge web when you're not expecting it is icky and very startling, to be sure, but I don't know that I'd totally lose it. (Depends on circumstances and how off guard you are, I think.) Love Adam's answer to the pop star/rock star question. Soooo true!!!
