Wow, peeps! I just got home , zeroed in on the interview - and I am IN AWE!!! IN AWE!!!! I don't even know what to say...I am sure you've already analyzed and said everything possible...

Producer. Not sure all the info is accurate, but this quote sounds right to me. 1. You should be your own Executive Producer if at all possible. It will permit you to retain 100% control over your career, including what to record and how to record it and double your mechanical royalties at the same time! You'll get paid as the Artist, and get paid as the Executive Producer, and have the right to record your own compositions and get paid any songwriter public performance earnings you can blackmail your ASCAP, BMI or SESAC affiliation out of!IMO, Adam knows this sophomore album is very, very important. It will make or break his attempt to become BIG in Pop. I think using his own money may be a strategy. Also, just my opinion, but making it high up the charts and having great sales, are more important than making a lot of money on it. He will make most of his money, probably, on his tour anyway. So, spending big to promote and to get the best and most current collaborators is key. Gosh, I am so damn happy for him! Life is Good! I would like to thank everyone for their wonderful thoughts for my Grandmother yesterday. We had great news this morning - she is feeling MUCH better and is even sitting up in her chair. It amazes me that a 103yo woman can still fight back from illness. When my father got there yesterday morning, she was in bad enough shape that he (and the caregivers at her home) thought it would only be a matter of hours, but she rallyed throughout the day, had a good night's rest and is vastly improved this morning. That's brilliant pjd. So glad for you all  . |

Just got home from work and came right here to see whats going on. What a fabulous interview. I'm counting the seconds till the show tonight! Man did he look gorgeous in that piece and excited that he's in control of his next release! This is quite impressive for a new artist!  |
