Do you mean on the 27th? I have never seen comments until today and not that long ago as I have been watching the video all day. And there are only 105 that I am seeing. Very strange.

I am sure someone else has followed this more closely. It originally had no comments, then it was opened for comments for a bit (I did not track how long. 2 - 3 hours? on 12/27? maybe 12/28.) and it got trolled (my opinion) -- then whoever is managing it for CBS cut off the comments. Then they reopened it up to comments about 24 hours ago and the old ones are gone. There is one trolllish post now, but not like before. But mostly real comments now.
ETA: There were a lot of comments about Ella Henderson doing it first (she did a "Believe" cover in 2012 on X-Factor UK which is quite famous). Many of her fans did not realize Adam did it in 2009 on American Idol. In other words, Adam did it first. I was not aware of her or her cover version until I saw the comments on Adam's video. There is one on there now but Adam fans immediately replied to it.

Shockingly there is a comment that he sang emotionless. All the feedback I have been seeing and hearing has been the exact opposite.

Yes, that comment is very "Brian." He is so self-effacing. I like it when really talented people have some humility and class.

Thanks! I thought about that too but didn't know if booking the arena came with big costs that would be hard to cover with cheap tickets. Kelly did not have the tour bundle but Hozier is playing venues in the US about the size of Adam's last US tour, maybe a little smaller. But but he is offering the album cd download with the ticket purchase. People are doing things differently now so I don't think Adam will automatically follow the old way of doing things. I hope not. I wonder if he is still with Philymack. He has been getting some good and high profile placements so someone is doing a fantastic job for him but haven't seen them linked with him in all of this. Thinking about it too, at least where I am, there's not a lot of choices of venues between large theaters and arenas. So if she can sell enough tickets for even two levels at an arena at a lower price, maybe it makes sense. I did see Kelly at at the same theater Adam was booked for TOH tour (the one cancellation sadly) and she sold really quickly, but that venue only holds 2k. Sometimes things just kind of even out. Personally, I like smaller venue that is packed with a crowd that is very excited and has a tangible electricity to it. Of course, the biggest acts can fill a huge arena and still have that electricity, but many do not. Kelly has been riding high, but I'm not sure if she ever filled huge arenas on her solo tours. Maybe she did. I don't know. I do like the idea of offering the album cd download with the ticket purchase. Maybe Adam will do that. Whatever it takes.
