So much fun watching this clip of Satisfaction for a couple (well, maybe more) times. Adam was so manic, I think this was his most manic performance besides Black and White, and Born to be Wild. He was obviously having so much fun, he was loving it! Love the sultry look to the camera, all the big grins as he was singing, the hair flying in his face, the dancing and writhing all over the stage, damn he was so HOT, HAWT, on Fire! I miss AI8, would love a variety show with Adam doing something different every week. Am not where I can watch this now, so don't know if it's the first or second performance. But I remember on the second, where he knew he had made the cut, at one point it looked like he was so happy he could hardly keep from laughing - Loved it! Felt so happy for him!

This should be added to favorite posts. So it’s pretty much everything but the nose you stan. I was going to say lust after considering your first choices, but I’ll be nice and give you the benefit of the doubt that your thoughts are pure (not GOD FORBID, motherly.) My thoughts aren't motherly. I am just one of those people who think the male body is beautiful. When I first got married (hundreds of years ago) I made by husband stop beside the side of the road and we bought a huge portrait for our living room. It was painting on velvet of a naked female and male with beautiful bodies embracing. Looking back I bet I was the laugh of the neighborhood. But there was something so tender and beautiful about those bodies and the way they were holding each other. The picture is long gone but that picture is still in my mind, and I will never forget it or the first years of my marriage. I have never understood my obsession and feelings regarding Adam, but I have some of those same thoughts about Adam. There is something tender and beautiful about him, and that includes his ass, his armpits, and his glambulge. I would love to see him naked. I don't particularly feel lust - I feel like I am beholding something beautiful, like holding a newborn baby or watching a particularly beautiful sunset. It is a feeling in my chest where my heart is. Don't know what you would call that. Heart so full from beauty, it just breaks...

Thanks for the recommendation. I don't get that channel, but maybe I can watch it online. I liked the description on the web page where it says no one is voted off. That appeals to me because all the kids will continue to learn and grow. I stayed up too late last night watching NBC's "The Sing-Off" online. It is for a cappella vocal groups (no instruments). There are some stunning groups. I don't know how the judges are going to narrow it down. The judges actually have something worthwhile to say. I've watched it in the past and they usually have positive and negative critiques. I could tell that with this new season they were struggling to find negatives. www.nbc.com/sing-off/video/I love the Sing Off! It may be the best singing competition on TV! I know they have the best judges. Randy, JLo, and Steven should be forced to watch them! Wish it would get a bigger audience, but it is up against DWTS. Yes, tough competition. But both these shows are online at each network's web site. I watch some of this on the weekend when I have time--no DVR needed.

SusieFierce: Thanks for posting those Idoltry clips from Slezack. Are those the only 2 from Rock Week? They barely even talked about Adam or show much of his performance, WTF?
(really embarrassed to admit that I have not watched these before)
ETA: I don't think Idol thought Kris was even in the running, there was not much coverage of him throughout the season, then he just kind of came out of nowhere at the end, must have really thrown a kink in their programming plans.
I think they thought Danny would win, he had the longest solo on the finale, and Kris didn't even get a solo spot.
IMO, Danny was too much of a douche bag personality wise to win, just YUK!
ETA2: Hope I don't get modded for ragging on Dopey Gokey

You are totally me. I didn't buy either of the other pendants because of the expense and I didn't think I'd wear them. I regretted not getting the infinity one for sure. I haven't taken m peace pendant off since it arrived on Tuesday (except to shower). It does have an energy and I forget I have it on until I catch a glimpse in the mirror and it makes me smile. I finally got one, too. Did you get the one with the chain or the other one? Just wondering. I got the silver one with the chain and the bronze one with the cord (not nuts about this cord but it works with the bronze). I also have the Eye of Horus and Infinity. Sometimes I wear the EofH with the cord (that cord was adjustable--great feature) or with a long heavy chain and it looks good either way. The Infinity I prefer on a chain. I'm really loving the Peace one on the chain. It feels and looks just right!

Queen extravaganza without Adam???!!! What?!!!!??? Queen's Roger Taylor is launching a North American talent search that will offer vocalists and musicians the opportunity to star in the Queen Extravaganza. This guy, Marc Martel, does sound a lot like Freddie. Would love to get Cassie's take. Hmmm. Very interesting. He does sound a lot like Freddie. Not so much at the very bottom of his range, but in most of this, his timbre, or tone is quite similar. Freddi tended to squeeze the notes a bit more, making a sharper, more brittle sound, while this guys is a little richer and more mellow. He has the vibrato down well. Again, a little more controlled and consistent than Freddie's, but the frequency and use is very similar. He would be good doing a cover band. ETA: While I would love to see Adam singing some Queen songs because of their complexity, range and impact, Adam's voice is not at all similar to Freddie's, IMO, except that they both have big ranges. Their tones, their control, their breath support, are quite different. I think that Adam COULD squeeze his voice to imitate Freddie, but I don't think he would. Adam wants to be his own artist. He would actually be "dumbing down" his voice to sing like Freddie. (Any Freddie fans, don't attack me for that last statement.) Thank you Cassie!!! Loove getting your feedback. And OF Course it goes without saying about Adam doing his thing. So freaking ridiculously excited for Adam Act 2, 3, 4,...
