I just saw a Cigna TV commercial starring Nick Jonas. Can't really see why.....but good for him that he got a big company's commercial. Would love for PM to get Adam a TV ad/commercial.

Midweek foreign update as of 1/15 and domestic as 1/16, about 7 Mil up from skaschep previous post On 1/14(?): Total Lifetime Grosses Domestic: $199,469,670 25.6% + Foreign: $580,152,069 74.4% = Worldwide: $779,621,739 As expected, domestically BoRhap is now only $158,522 behind ASIB on day 76 of their respective runs. In other words, by tomorrow BoRhap should be ahead, and by Friday it should hit $200M domestically, 2 days earlier than ASIB.

Has anybody else noticed Adam take a breath in "Believe" when he sings the last "do you believe in life after love". Every time I hear that intake of breath, I gasp. For some reason it touches something in me. I have yet to figure out why I love the sound of that last breath. It fits the song as I feel like he believes finally that there is life after love. It kills me. I wonder if he did it intentionally or he just needed to take a breath. I am so dramatic when it comes to Adam. Here I am now trying to analyze his breathing.

Perhaps in the grand scheme of things I should be more accomodating but ...

He made this song so utterly believable and that's why it hits everybody's soft spot. Mine too. Being the performer that he is, I think he might have taken that breath intentionally while still very much identifying with the song. Not sure if that makes sense.

He intended that breath to be part of the emotion of the song. I have no doubt that when he prepares a song with words this emotional, he creates a character to inhabit while he sings. Someone mentioned that he is a story teller similar to Frank Sinatra and the greats. He creates a story and pulls you into it slowly until all you hear is his voice. That is a special talent and it is very powerful. Gloriously theatrical; a mini drama.
