#10YearsOfAdamLambert I knew nothing about the LGBT community until I fell in love with Adam. I feel like I had life lessons that were lacking in me before he walked out on Idol and changed this country and me. So true, so true.

Through this past decade of wonder, discovery, and my own personal journey to authenticity, I've learned so much from the friends at Adamtopia. I cherish every moment I've been with you . . . the concerts, the pre and post parties, the notes and letters, photos, mementoes. I've walked the streets of London, lost, at 3AM with Q3; discovered the only bar open in Chicago at 2AM with Adamrocks; curled up on the front seat floorboard of a rental car with Grandduchess; taken the train along the North Sea with SophieB; and, for a time, loved and cared for the splendid, restored 'Marry the Night' chandelier that was JustKaren's. So many memories, shared with Mszue, Grandduchess, Didilynn (we just saw BoRhap in San Francisco last weekend!), Theosgma, Lorraine, and so, so many others here. My passion for Adam and his journey includes the joy I've discovered with each of you. Ah Momtomany, one of the very special people I would never have met if it wasn't for Adam (and the wonder of the Internet !). It was a new experience for me, connecting online with others who shared that early passion for Adam, and then arranging face-to-face meetings that otherwise would never have happened. I remember meeting you in April of 2010 in Vancouver, where Melisende arranged a dinner for the early arrivals the night before the Red River concert in Vancouver ... since then we have eaten together in places like London, Thackerville (Oklahoma), Montreal (St. Agathe), Las Vegas, etc. ... and visited in each others homes! I treasure your friendship, and that of many other ATOP members I've met and partied with at various Adam events during the past 10 years ... let's hope we are all still doing it 10 years from now!

Funny story about that, the Idol show with Mad World went overtime (I don't think it was because of football but I can't remember) and many people did not get to see Adam sing. It just so happened that I watched and recorded the show after Idol, so I got to see the whole thing immediately. That performance sealed the deal for me - the staging, the lighting, the costume, the dramatic arc, and of course the voice - incredible The show after American Idol was "Fringe". I did the same. Thank you! I couldn't remember which show it was. I deleted Idol and saved Fringe because I couldn't stop watching the beginning over and over again.

So good to hear from you momtomany.... Saw this just now on Twitter and if I remember correctly you were at this London show in 2015...not sure if this was the show that you wondered the streets with Q3 afterwards, or maybe after show 2? This has to be my favorite QAL outfit ever. Those pants......those legs! twitter.com/mmochroi/status/1087159138310914049

Well, seems the appearance has something to do with "cheese" or body rolling.....and we know that Adam is off dairy.....but he does know a thing or two about body rolling. I'm going with he's gonna teach James how to body roll. twitter.com/AdamL_Daily/status/1087139150736826369

Just had to come on and post in honor of Adam's 10 year anniversary. Wow, can't believe it. I have never liked reality singing shows, but 10 years ago today at a stopover at my daughters home, she insisted watching American Idol. I shook my head with the same disbelief I would give soap operas. And then, Adam came on. I was hooked!!!!! I actually felt a little guilty at my reaction and as time went on my friends and family thought I had really 'lost it". They humored me and laughed at my passion, thinking it would surely pass. Well, 10 years later, they finally accept my 'addiction'. They have even joined me at several concerts and admit he is phenomenal! Like so many others, I started at MJ's, then Planet Fierce before finding the best, Adamtopia. I don't post much, but I do visit daily and enjoy all the posts and discussions. Thank you all for all your hard work in making this site such a wonderful place to share my love of Adam Lambert. Hope to meet some of you at an upcoming concert. Planning on San Jose and Toronto this time around. I CAN"T WAIT!!!

I too am delurking today in honor of Adam's milestone. Like others, I don't post often but I am here every single day, many times per day to keep up with Adam news. I'm so thankful for Atop. I have been here since the beginning and I have met a handful of you personally, but it also feels like I know many of you through your posts. This place feels like home to me and I appreciate each and every one of you. I plan on being a more vocal presence here after I retire in February! You are all kindred spirits. And as for our shared love for Adam, I know you all understand when I say that he leaves me speechless with wonder. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that such joy would come to me so unexpectedly and leave me forever changed.

I have no doubt that someone will post whatever Adam is doing on Corden so will look forward to the posting.

Thanks always to those who keep Adamtopia afloat, moderators, posters, data-keepers and the like. Every day that I can, I check on here. What a treasure everyone on here is. I watched Adam on American Idol and was just floored and captivated by him. Shortly after, my husband was sent to his fourth deployment to the Middle East, with the attendant worries, death of friends, etc.... then, came the final straw: my sister-friend was brutally murdered, along with all of her fawn colored mastiffs, leaving the black brindle mastiffs to come close to starvation and exposure to the elements. I was executor to her will, and I will say no more except that this was the third murder of a friend within a relatively short period of time, all on separate occasions.
After these events, I woke up one morning, broken on the physical, mental, and spiritual level. Fortunately, I had good people to help. I couldn’t watch much tv because even a commercial might trigger my PTSD. But a friend suggested Glee as a nice pick-me-up. I missed Adam’s “ Marry the Night” performance, but I watched the other episodes, not even recognizing him until one episode, I said to my goddaughter that this character wasn’t even having to try and was out-singing even the regulars. She said that I ought to know that because that was Adam Lambert.
Well, that was the sticking point for me. From then on, I searched for any and every Adam performance or interview and then, gloriously, with Queen. And how Adam has helped in the healing process, from his advocacy, his antics, and his diverse career with its opportunity to bless so many, me included. With these stories of healing that so many of you have shared , adding Adam’s role in this process and just for everyone in general, thank you for sharing. And to Adam in ways that words cannot express, blessings for many years to come!
