It seems #10YearsOfAdamLambert is trending in Canada with 10.7K tweets...
Or maybe it is just trending for me...

Btw, if anyone wants to tweet AdamFullCircle.com to Adam today, I am totally ok with it, but I am not going to do it myself. It would feel too much like self-promotion, and I am not that kind of guy... I tweeted it too and I see PattiHum has also with several RTs. Would LOVE for Adam to see your hard work.

Was Adam the first Idol that had his sexuality become such a major talking point while he was competing on the show? He was not the first or last gay contestant but I don't remember it becoming such a big focal point for anyone else. It must have been unsettling to him at the time. Tho he had lived openly as a gay man for many years, he came on the show to have his talent recognized but he wasn't hiding anything. It was not like Ada, many years later, when they were trying to make being a drag queen the main selling point. But with Adam, Idol really was trying to highlight and showcase his major and different level of talent. But I discovered Adam because Fox news and CNN were constantly talking about his sexuality so I tuned in to see what was happening. My first thought was I hope this guy is good cause they are not helping his chances by focusing so much on his sexuality. Then I discovered this handsome and super talented young man with a big voice and showmanship and I was hooked. 10 years later and I'm still hooked. Adam's talent and charisma have carried him a long way (even with many barriers) and he is still going strong. A few thoughts about this. Adam was one of the few gay people on TV who was not there as a caricature or a comic relief person. He was serious about showing his talent to viewers. He wasn't overtly pushing his sexuality. Once his sexuality became evident to the public, it wasn't Adam who kept bringing up the subject. It was the media. He was asked about it all the time and answered openly and honestly. He took it all with his natural good nature and sense of humor. I remember him saying, "That's all everybody wanted to talk about." It was kind of a novelty. He was one of the few public gay people to talk about his sexuality so openly. The vast majority did not. His talent and personality have served him well, along with his honesty. His sexuality certainly isn't the only thing that defines him. I think he is breaking through more barriers each year. His sexuality is less of an issue in his career.

It seems #10YearsOfAdamLambert is trending in Canada with 10.7K tweets... Or maybe it is just trending for me... I don't know how it works. I typed in Canada and don't see anything. I've tried different US cities....nothing. I usually keep my trending list on Worldwide and it currently has some things with a lot less number of tweets trending....like Jimmy Buffet with only 2,644 tweets.

It is such a treat to see all the old/new atoppers checking in, and to see all the beginning parts of the circle of Adam that each person jumped in at. I was also one of those who fell with Mama. I remember being quite gob-smacked at his audition and telling my DD she just had to watch him. She was not truly smitten until ROF...that one hooked her! She joined me for New Years, several years later, at Winstar and met many of the glamberts checking in here. She particularly connected with theogsma, and of course our hosts with the most, juniemoon and merisander. I have met so many awesome people over the last 10 years it has been a highlight of my life. For my first live Adam show at Puyallop I bought one of momtomany's tickets! I wish there were a way to meet everyone. Pastababy sat on the phone with me, from New York, to talk me through setting up twitter and Tweetdeck. I recognized the importance of twitter after meeting, and sharing adjoining rooms, with Winks at the GNT show at Musicbox in LA... I remember sitting at my computer in the fanclub looking for 'pf' on the end of handles so I could help let fans know that Q3 was setting up Adamtopia.....now that was a day and a half!
I would be here all day [as if I am not] if I were to name everyone I have enjoyed meeting on this 10 year Adam journey....I have enjoyed every last one of those meetings, both virtual and f2f! Thank you all!

It’s been „only“ four years for me. I got to know Adam at the QAL concert in Berlin. I just went and looked, if I could find a good video of Another One Bites the Dust from that day, because that was the first song, where Adam grabbed me. I found something better: a video from about the place, where I was sitting that day. OK, I must have been a little higher and more to the left, because I was able to see the round screen in full through the two big speakers. And boy, I needed that screen! But here is a snippet from my first Adam experience: m.youtube.com/watch?v=yb5GWAWxURYAnd here is my best memory so far(or one of them): Berlin 2018 - first row. What a change for me! 😀 m.youtube.com/watch?v=a11MHYWWBJk

Like many others, I am here every day, keeping up with Adam news and finding audio/video clips of performances, interviews, etc. that I otherwise would not have known about. What a tremendous all around person/talent we have found and enjoyed all these years. A quick personal remembrance - not about Adam - but about Adamtopia. For those who haven't known about Adam since the beginning, a popular site called Planet Fierce existed for Adam fans. But it disappeared suddenly, and I couldn't believe how upset I was, not to be able to follow Adam daily. (Yes - withdrawal.) Then I found Adamtopia, and have been here since. A huge thank you to Q3 for providing this "home" for us all. And, of course, thanks to all the mods and all contributors over the years. I expect to be here ten years from today! Me too. I had a major panic attack when Planet Fierce disappeared. Thankfully, somehow I found Adamtopia and have loved this site ever since. Don't post every day, but read here at least twice a day. I so appreciate all the news, audios, videos, etc. I'll never see Adam live but I live my Adam fandom vicariously through all of you. Thanks Q3!
