Just noticed that #FreddieMercury is trending Worldwide....at least on my Twitter trends list. Maybe it was something organized by Queen fans IDK.

Brian is facing an unbelievable shitstorm on twitter and Instagram. Too many people dislike his comment, that has been posted here earlier today. I just hope, this will go away soon. It’s really bad. I believe he can handle it. What he said was a simple fact and not out of line, but it takes courage to voice an unpopular opinion, no matter how big or small the audience. I was actually tempted yesterday to say exactly the same here that I read in Brian's tweet this morning, but instead I left a comment that wouldn't rile everybody up. Brian could have easily ignored that stupid comment, which in my opinion was totally inappropriate, but he decided not to and make a point.

Wow just been reading some of the comments, jeez it's ridiculous, people need to get a grip. Hope he's ok, they really are being seriously nasty now.

Oh, I did use some of it in one of my posts as well. And I noticed, that my opinions weren’t that popular. I just find it totally exaggerated, that there are even fans now, who want to get rid of their QAL tickets. Or glamberts, who want Adam to break with Queen, because of this. It’s simply nuts, what’s going on. Until now it’s still a minor thing, I just hope, this will be over soon...

There have been fans who wanted Adam to break with Queen every time a new tour is announced, lol. This excuse is as good a reason as any. But thankfully Adam makes his own decisions and won't be intimidated by these people who want to be in charge of his career and his life. The tour is pretty much sold out so if they can unload the tickets there will be some happy fans waiting to scoop them up. Some people seem to think they have more power than they do. Adam is not a major player as far as the movie is concerned and had no say in who they hired as director. They can't dictate to him about his career and life. I just want Adam to release some new music. And if Idol invites him on the show to mentor or perform his new music, I'm sure he will go even tho complaints were made against Seacrest by a woman. Not as serious of the ones against Singer but that does not always matter.

Twitter, Instagram, all of it, can be used as terrible weapons of hate. I can't wait for this story to die off. And it will. I think Brian could have chosen to just ignore the tweet. But because he did reply, I think he stated how he truly felt. I don't think this will have much impact on the tour. It's just a lot of people blowing off steam. Probably will be settled down long before the tour. It's amazing what the alleged behavior of one person can have on the behavior of others. As the saying goes: "The most dysfunctional person in the room has the most power." So true.
