I can't believe I have NEVER seen that before, I am a bad fan! Loved it, Adam is smokin hot!!!! And the bit by Sara hillarious and very well received by the audience, IMO. Thanks for posting, Gelly! I was amazed at how he can do such a good job on delivering the cheezy banter written for presenters. AWARD SHOWS - TAKE NOTE.

blog.chron.com/tubular/2011/09/projects-runway-music-fashion-and-glambert/Projects Runway: Music, fashion and Glambert Two things about this week’s episode. It was a smart move to have the contestants design for a rock band, because most of them will likely go on to dress celebrities. The contestants must create looks for the Sheepdogs, an unsigned band recently featured on the cover of Rolling Stone. They’re split into two teams of four, and each designer is responsible for one band member. BUT. Featuring Adam Lambert on the same episode — which I am all for, by the way — might have taken some of the attention away from the challenge. I say this because GLAMBERTS ARE POWERFUL, Y’ALL. They buzzed about it online days earlier and all through the episode. Plus, Lambert’s observations were smart and funny. Why not feature him more prominently, perhaps as a challenge? IMAGINE THE GLITTER. Read more...

Yesterday, after talking about "Idolatry," I went to play around in the AMAZING archive that 4Msrmyn has created. I read and watched some of the shows from earlier in the season that was before I discovered Slezak. Of course, some of his early criticism is straight out of the "The Jaded AI Watchers' Guide to the Universe," with the "producer's favorite," and "pimp spot" buzz words, but as the season went on, their perception of Adam as a gutsy performer, incredible vocalist and all-around nice guy came through. This one is particularly relevant to our discussion today. First and third vids have lots of BTBW footage and Adam discussion. For thread: atop.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=idolpreformances&action=display&thread=23&page=26For vid: link.brightcove.com/services/player/bcpid21813058001?bckey=AQ~~,AAAAAA0Xi_s~,r1xMuE8k5NyNjEyUQDF4ONqCvUF18WRh&bclid=21900654001&bctid=20254113001 Damn you, Susie! I am Down the Rabbit Hole now (again!) See you all in a few hours! ;D

I was amazed at how he can do such a good job on delivering the cheezy banter written for presenters. AWARD SHOWS - TAKE NOTE. Adam is a very good actor! IKR - but often even Oscar winners sound lame delivering the "presenter tripe" they come up with on these shows. He's just so natural "live" on camera. Or should I say "confident".

He gave Adam a great review on the GNT in Houston last year, and also actually organized a party to interview Glamberts before the concert. He was supposed to show up for our party at the Hard Rock Cafe, but didn't. (SEE Houston GNT thread at: atop.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=fyeperformances&action=display&thread=201if you're interested in reading more about Joey's articles on Adam.
