So I'm confused. The award went to Adam? But it was from Parents and Friends of Lesbian and Gay. So wouldn't Leila get the award instead of Adam? Or did they both get awards? My understanding is that the honor/award went to Leila as a PFLAG Mom!  (Adam there to support + he's a Media Magnet! ;D) |

We're coming into a new Adam era, but there will never be another time when each appearance brought outrageously different looks, drama, and dissection of every move, every review, and their impact on existing and perspective fans. Roller coaster ride does not begin to describe it, at least from my point of view. Those were the days when I learned I really COULD get along on 4 hours sleep a night. , you are right. Adam had a different look every time he went on a show, and then he turned up at Fantasy Springs in that wild outfit. I think the reception he got at FS really validated him. He will probably refine his look even more, I think he has found his style that he wants to portray fo the upcoming album release PR. I am still waiting to see what he was in during the 3 day long hair/poncho look. I imagine that he did a screen test for some show, but that is just my imagination running wild. I remember being over the moon after Fantasy Springs feeling as if we, as fans, gave him the courage to come out and be as freaky and awesome as he wanted. I still feel he knows how much we love him and support his choices. What a feeling of power that has to be.... in a good way, not arrogance, but confidence. |
