I think that quote is the bottom line to most prejudice. Again the US vs THEM mentality rears its ugly head. I don’t pretend to know the whole story, but I have been the recipient of a few hostile or confused looks over the years being that I’m a long-haired hippie type. Even more amusing is when I’m traveling with my wife. It’s a little like Catherine Zeta Jones walking hand in hand with Joe Perry (except I’m not as good looking). It just does not compute with some people so they get uncomfortable and not liking that, they get hostile..
