False hope is so demoralizing. Yet the prospect of something new to satisfy my glam fix... makes me titter on the edge. Holy sh*t, Reihmer, that guy barely made it in the water!!

melirose89 Melinda @djdrifta the fact that the UK doesnt know or acknowledge or care about Adam Lambert like the rest of the world is extremely sad/disturbing *Shakes fists in fury* damn Simon Fuller and his incompetence. You'd think that he would've been able to since its his home country but Nooo...

I have always had a sneaky feeling that the Fuller/Cowell feud affected Adam in the UK. Combined with the volcano screwing up some of what was set up of course. The thing is Cowell has the UK sewn up and he and Fuller had that agreement to kind of stay out of each others business. I wondered if the reason Adam didn't get spun on Radio One was because either Cowell exerted some influence or because the radio peeps preferred to err on the side of caution and not piss Cowell off. The UK was a pretty glaring hole in an overall successful world rollout so I figure there were probably things going on behind the scenes that we will never know about.
Thankfully since Fuller is no longer connected to Adam there should be no reason for any of those types of roadblocks to carry forward if they did exist. Plus I think he has done a good job of moving beyond the reality show label and stands a better chance of breaking through now. One of the good signs I found was that he actually got a release in France which is a notoriously hard country to break into for foreign artists and he had good response and good promo there so I really think this time around it will be a lot harder to count him out.

I just know that kid is going to let something slip but I have to go to bed. He said the track is upbeat but his remix is ... audreyc1877 Audrey Caron @djdrifta can you tell us if the song is upbeat/dance or a ballad? 8 minutes ago in reply to ↑ @djdrifta Chris Drifta audreyc1877 the original is upbeat, my remix is speedy gonzalez :-) I think it is best to just wait for the original first, so if he does let something out, I will practice self-control and wait. ETA - he hasn't tweeted in 8 minutes ... must have got that call from LA.

Interesting theory, but I am not sure that it makes complete sense when you look at the other 19E artists in the UK. I think that the issue in the UK was that Fuller was suppose to do it. But then he got all wrapped up in his unsuccessful effort to purchase CKX, Inc., the parent company of 19, and just didn't have time to put together much in the UK. Neither 19M and XIX (Fuller's new company) are really set up to handle a global artist. JMHO ---
