Yes, however, you can put Adam Lambert an that will reveal to you who is talking ABOUT him, as opposed to who is talking TO him. (@adamlambert) This is how we find WITWIAFLs because when someone comments that he just walked into a restaurant or car wash or whatever, they rarely use @adamlambert; they will simply say Adam Lambert.

On Tweetdeck, those who have permanent search windows open have one column for Adam Lambert or adam lambert (case sensitive, I think) and @adamlambert, so this way they can see at a glance every tweet that mentions him by twitter name (that he will also see) and every tweet that mentions him by full name (he will not see unless he searches his name).

This is also why we rarely use his full name when speaking about him on Twitter. It's not just to save on characters, but most of us don't want every random snippet of conversation going right to him. DDD: #horrors We refer to him as A mostly. That way anyone on our feeds know who we are talking about, but it won't show up in a search and god forbid, spamming his @replies with our yammering.

I got a little deflated when I read Adam's Galliano tweets. Before I read this thread, I wasn't aware of any efforts Galliano had made beyond an apology. Forgiveness I'm capable of giving, regardless of whether someone apologizes or not (for the reasons JustKaren mentioned, and also--if they've actually expressed remorse--to open up the space for that person to change and grow without being chained to their past mistakes). But beyond that, for me, I have to take a wait-and-see approach. It doesn't translate to actively supporting a person, financially or otherwise, unless they've also taken active steps toward their own transformation.

I know the topic of forgiveness is probably way passed now but I just wanted to say that my personal experience taught me that holding on and not forgiving (or maybe better stated not letting go of an injustice done to you and moving on) just eats at your soul and does you no good. Forgiving (but not forgetting) allows you to feel a weight is lifted off of you and you can then give the person a second chance to prove they are truly sorry and have changed. If they repeat their actions again...well...you can feel peace in knowing that you at least gave them a chance to grow. JMHO
