Even if there are no consequences for Ryan Dumbgan, I appreciate that the station put out this comment. It's obviously indicative of a shift, and it's more and more generally understood that homophobic hate-speech is unacceptable. Doesn't mean that everyone has changed their minds, but it means a lot that hate is no longer sanctioned. The fewer hateful words out there, the fewer people who are hurt by them. |

I don't care if he works at a conservative station or a liberal station......hateful comments like these should be addressed and the public should know about this. Bullying at any age, in any form, should be tackled head on and let people like this see...it isn't going to be tolerated....they will be called out for it. I'm an 'offensive' person...go right after these bigoted people. |

That's an apology??!!! Wow! I don't see him taking responsibility for what he said as a form of bullying at all. He calls it comedy! Seems to me he is attacking the fans, for attacking him, and has a few sentences that sound like he was forced to say about his apology. What an ass! Since he is spending so much time "talking" about the problems of the world, I wonder if anyone tweeted to him how much Adam has done for charities that involve children? |

Perfect gif, reihmer.  Didn't see any fan comments yet. Maybe the consensus is to move on. I wasn't on line during the drama. But the first paragraph of his "apology" was enough to turn me off. I guess you're allowed to do/say whatever without being called out for it as long as there are bigger, badder things going on in the world. OIC, our perspective is out of whack.
