We have seen all the headlines and accolades about the performance so the bubble is not the only one to think it was great. There is always negativity on these videos and in comment sections. They have nothing but time and bitterness and hope that others spread the message of who awful something was as if others can't see and judge for ourselves. It rarely works tho cause most just ignore them. Sometimes, those who want to spew hate and negativity are the ones who feel compelled to post the most. Or the same haters repeat themselves the most. I think the positive reaction to Adam's Oscar performance far outweighs the negative regardless of how the comments look. I think he opened lots of people's eyes for the first time to the beauty of his amazing voice. I think jaws were dropping far beyond the "fan bubble." Thanks. For some reason that hate seemed more vicious this time. Lots of "he's terrible", "he's horrible" or "he makes me puke" type comments, without any reason why they thought that way, and many not even mentioning MM. Just really saddens me. Just for comparison though, I looked at one of Gaga's Oscar performance videos with the most views, 22 million and it had 12K dislikes. And this was the performance that stole the show. Most comments were still gushing and no hateful ones at all. Just a few "Bradley can't sing" and "she's shouting" type comments.

Ok, just gonna be the first one to say this.... Already tired of the Jonas Brothers hype...moving on. Although I couldn't care less about the Jonas Brothers, I'm actually glad for all the hype. It shows me what Phillymack can do and encourages me that they'll do the same for Adam when he releases his album!I hope you are correct. But the Jonas Bros are signed to Republic, a major label. I guess DNCE was also signed to Republic and Nick to Island. But they are under a Universal umbrella. We don't know yet what kind of pull Adam's new label will have but I sure hope it is good and it works. But major labels always have the upper hand with getting acts on the radio if the desire is there to do so. I do believe that Phillymack placed Adam someplace that will work for him tho. I want to see them all work their magic for him.

From jealous Idol fans who still resent any success that he has. Followed by F and MM fans who are upset with anything he does. And then you have your regular old homophobic haters. I had to laugh as some KA fans who are upset that Adam is getting the Documentary with Queen. They are pissed because KA does not get this kind of media support, they complained. I mean, what the hell is he doing that the media would even care about him? But I try to ignore them the best that I can. It does not help Adam for me to help them carry their hate forward. It has always been there and it is not going anyplace.

Well, I will be crossing fingers for a positive and growth filled launch...leading to a sustained enthusiasm. 🤞🤞😐

'American Idol' contestants: Where are they now?
Theatrical, flamboyant and equipped with a multi-octave range, Adam Lambert was a storm that "American Idol" fans never saw coming. Sadly, Adam finished Season 8 as the runner-up to Kris Allen. In 2009, Adam Lambert released his first album, "For Your Entertainment," which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. He earned a Grammy nomination for best male pop vocal performance for his hit "Whataya Want From Me" in 2011. In early 2013, Adam parted ways with Finnish TV personality Sauli Koskinen after nearly three years of dating. In 2015, Adam beat out Carrie Underwood, Chris Daughtry and Kelly Clarkson to become the highest earning "Idol" alum that year thanks to his work with Queen: He's collaborated with the rock band once fronted by Freddie Mercury as the lead vocalist for Queen + Adam Lambert since 2011. The group has enjoyed several successful world tours from 2014 to 2018 and completed a 10-date Las Vegas residency in 2018. In 2019, Adam helped Queen deliver a rocking performance to kick off the Academy Awards. www.msn.com/en-us/tv/gallery/american-idol-contestants-where-are-they-now/ss-BBJWSyK#image=18An important piece of info that needed to be shared, lol.

It has always been there and it is not going anyplace. I quit reading comments sections a long time ago. They just made my blood pressure go up. I think the vast majority of folks out there don't post comments at all, so the percentage that do is not that big. I could be wrong, but it just seems logical to me. Every fandom thinks their own favorites deserves the best treatment, the best opportunities, the best support, the best accolades. And as you say, lurleene, it does Adam absolutely NO GOOD to keep engaging those hate-mongers in some sort of pointless argument. Doesn't change anyone's minds at all. Only increases the hate level. As for Adam's new music support from Empire, I just want to know: Assuming Empire do it's best of promote Adam's music in lots of effective ways, don't his recent, very well-received network TV performances help give him the required cred to get at least some radio stations to play his music? Shouldn't the Wicked performance, "Believe," The Elvis special, and certainly the Oscars, give him a pretty darn good boost? How many magazine and newspaper articles, TV mentions, or on-line buzz, etc., does it take to show that a singer is worthy of getting his music played on radio? Just wondering. Hoping Empire pulls out its best bag of tricks this time around.
