Cute! Adam really is keeping things on the down low...just giving us a few winks from time to time. I noticed Javi's followers are at almost 2,500. He's getting lots of you're so cute and handsome and love the curls, etc. I only saw one person call him a fetus...and another a boy. I've learned the word "guapo" see that a lot...means handsome in Spanish.

Talk about double standards. I was watching a documentary on Led Zeppelin last night. There was a part where they discussed Jimmy Page, during Zeppelins time as huge rock stars, dating a 14 year old teen model. They even interviewed her as an adult and she talked about her time as his girlfriend. And they showed pictures so it was very much out in the open. I wonder if when the media were harassing Freddie (because there were questions about his sexuality) if anyone had anything to say about Page at the time. If Adam was a 37 year old straight man and started dating a 21-22 year old young woman, he'd be called a really lucky guy. I like your Jimmy Page example of the age gap thing. The fact that Adam and Javi are a gay couple means that the rules are different for them. At least the attitude, if not the rules.

I have both YouTube versions of Adam's Feel Something on a loop and to me, it's interesting to watch the numbers between the 2 versions. The studio version seems to be catching up to the audio version and it makes me wonder if Adam did both versions to test responses. His live performances seem to really hit with people and I'm curious if both version were just a "gift" or if there is more method to it. I'm pretty convinced Empire is analyzing all the data they are getting from this song on all platforms to help with the strategy of the new single. There is so much information in that data about how Adam's fans react and where he is played the most. Hope you're right! FS has really struck a chord with lots of people. Hope Empire works hard to keep it alive for as long as possible. Adam's official single is not too far behind, so the momentum is important.

I had a wonderful surprise yesterday on a Delta flight ... one of their entertainment offerings was "Queen: Rock the World" ... a documentary produced in 2017, but somehow I hadn't ever seen it. It started with a minute or two of a QAL concert that was held In 2017 ... they didn't mention Adam, but he was shown briefly. Then there was almost an hour of old recently discovered footage exploring how a few of Queen's songs were developed. The big surprise came at the end when they showed a several minute segment that showcased Adam in his silver outfit with the crown (and that bright red hair that he had for a few concerts) ... with Brian commenting on how they thought Queen was over until Adam came along. The documentary was very complimentary about Adam, making it clear they wouldn't still be touring without him. This documentary was shown several times on PBS stations during the past three months or so when they were having their fundraising shows. The first time I saw only part of it, as I didn't know it was being broadcast, and then was absolutely thrilled when they showed QAL at the end showcasing Adam, with Brian's wonderful comments about Adam! Saw it a few more times on PBS in its entirety - definitely worth watching! Hopefully made a few PBS watchers aware that Queen is now touring with their fabulous "new" front man!

There is so much information in that data about how Adam's fans react and where he is played the most. So far, about 5 times as many YouTube views than Spotify streams. Wonder if that is usual for artists? Wish we had streaming numbers for the other audio streaming services, Amazon Music, Apple Music, Google Play, Tidal, etc. Normally you see more Spotify streams than YT views as YT doesn't count all views while Spotify does count all streams. I just checked Adam's YT information and it seems Mexico went all in on Feel Something. Until March 1 they viewed FS 952,000 times. To compare: the US did 167,000. Crazy. The total over the same period was 1,560,000 views.

@adamlambertidol: POLLSTAR Deems Adam Lambert a Key Factor in The Renaissance of Queen - adam-lambert.org/pollstar-deems-adam-lambert-a-key-factor-in-the-renaissance-of-queen/ twitter.com/adamlambertidol/status/1102295774036148226POLLSTAR credits three things responsible for the rebirth of Queen ā āa new frontman, new energy and a hit movie.ā The main catalyst is singled out ā āā¦renaissance for Queen that has been building steadily since the introduction of lead singer Adam Lambert ā one whose participation in the bandās legacy has moved far beyond ātiniest part.ā This article details the road taken by Queen + Adam Lambert, including heavy concentration on the stats. The only thing left out of their sequence was the very important 2013 iHeart Las Vegas appearance, which many have said was the testing ground for the eventual tours. Queen + Adam Lambert is here to stay. Weāve now got another 2019 North American summer tour, an April 29 NBC 2-hour documentary on the band, and from the Oscar success of Bohemian Rhapsody, donāt you think more countries and dates will be added to the tour? To drive the point home, for those of us still watching TV and listening to radio, you canāt go 15 minutes without hearing a commercial that uses Queenās music. The only thing we sadly may never get is new music from the band. Start the article below and click MORE at the end for the entire piece.
