LOL!! I liked BTIKM and WWFM too. But I also liked the more rock oriented songs like "Lucy" and "Runnin" and of course I liked all of his beautiful ballads. He has a richness of music on all his albums and some I like better that others. I have bought everything that Adam has released to support him but I think the only EDM song that I loved was "Lay Me Down" from Avicii's album. Come to think of it I am a fan of the bonus tracks: Running, Voodoo, Afterhours, and my all time fav By The Rules... can’t explain why ...they all give me “ the feels”, especially BTR... talking about being in the minority, 😆 I actually love By the Rules and Map, can't work out why they were only bonus tracks and I don't know how popular it would have been but I'd have loved Chokehold to have been a single, love that song.

Have fans really been contacting Adam about what music he should put out? Or have they only told him when they really like something? He probably got a lot of great feedback on "Feel Something" but he probably gets that whenever he releases something. I think most fans love his music and that is why they are fans. If he didn't want fans to like different parts or styles of it, he would probably make it all the same or record just to please some. I think it is nice that so many can find something about his music that they love. That is a great way to keep your fans. I think, Adam is in a special situation. Usually fans of a musician become fans, because they like his music. But that’s simply not the case for many of Adam’s fans . Early fans discovered him on Idol. He was singing covers. He won fans over with his voice and charisma. But his own musical direction had first to be developed. Then there are those like me, who became fans, because they attended a QAL concert. I love his voice and personality. To be honest: Had I just listened to him on the radio, I wouldn’t have become fan. I do like many of his songs. But his music is not, what captured me. It was him singing Queen. I think, here lies Adam’s (or maybe our?) main problem: What does his audience want? That answer is as divers as the groups of his fans are. Fans of Idol, of his pop music, of EDM, of Queen and rock... Fans from all over the world. That has often been Adam’s question: Whataya want from me? He never gets an answer, that helps him. IMO. Now he does, what HE wants to do. But does he know that? It’s a crux, when you can sing everything... He did release three albums of mostly pop music. That’s his thing. I guess the continued confusion about his musical identity comes from the fact, that he was the rocker on Idol and is doing rock with Queen. Conclusion: we should just stop talking of musical genres and enjoy Adam’s music. Very true. We all love Adam but maybe some have different reasons for being fans. I adore him fronting Queen but I also love a lot of his music too. Some of his radio releases I loved and some I only liked because it was put out. But it is what it is. There is no way to control anyone's reason for being a fan or liking certain types of music/songs and a waste of time to even try. But I do think it is hilarious how some of us can love a song and others put it on their do not listen to list. But the conversation is fine and entertaining even if nothing is accomplished. ETA: Yes to blackqueen65. And I love Chokehold too.

Just hope his album has songs that people can connect to regardless of the genre they fall into. Have to say though that the ballads do seem have a universal appeal and feel something is a real ear worm for me I keep finding it going round in my head randomly, doesn't often happen to me but that song has really got to me.

From my observations on twitter, fan feedback is mostly by applauding what they hear and like, and only very few make an attempt to "manage" Adam's career by telling him what to do. nightowl, I agree it would be easier on us to follow Adam's example and not talk about genres. A good song with a good hook is just that. Does anybody talk about genre when listening to "Feel Something"?

Jason is in Adam’s backyard. With Pharaoh. Waiting for something. And he started to follow Javi on Instagram. Finally.
Edit: ahh, I see Skaschep already posted the videos.
