I have a challenge. My Mom (a very young 73 year old) just told me that one of the first things she looks at on a man is his bulge. S0o I was telling her about the glam bulge and she didn't believe me and wanted to see. So my challenge is for those picture experts to post the biggest GB picture so that I can send it to her. It has to be in a format that I can use in an e-mail. I couldn't possibly have a conversation like this with my mom. She already thinks Americans are crazy for wearing shorts. The picture that has to be the *best* is Adam's Mardi Gras picture with the side view. I was only on AO at the time but remember the many hundreds of hilarious posts about that day. What was the reaction on PF? But that is a formed codpiece not the Glambulge, sorry.

momtomany, what do you mean...does your son (one of many, I presume :D) play for the Tigers?? I'll root for anyone to beat the Yankees! You're right! He's one of five. The perfect middle boy. #3. Go Tigers!!!!! My son has been with the Tigers since 2003. Before that he began his career with the SF Giants when they opened the new ballpark in 2000. When he realized he didn't have the skills to be on the field, he found a different way to gnaw and create a place for himself in pro baseball. You won't find him in the lineup. But he is part of what creates that lineup. And, when I tune in to watch a game, I can usually find him on the TV screen. What an honor that is for me! I cannot speak to my pride, because it comes from my boy, and belongs to him. Ah. The game is postponed for tonite . . . so I'll save my angst for Saturday! If I know some of you are with me in this Universe it will add to my very simple wish that joy will follow his dream. Go Tigers! I grew up in Michigan and I love the Tigers. I spent many hours watching games with my father, and he taught me to love baseball. I miss Ernie Harwell's voice.

A few years ago, he came on the field for his last appearance; as the Tigers were experiencing the second-worst record in all of baseball history. He said 'goodbye' and then reminded all of us 'it gets better'. And it has.

OT...I was reading about the life of Lena Horne and I found this quote: The part in red reminded me of Adam saying he doesn't wear gay across his shirt...it's just Adam. Lena Horne had to fight prejudice in the Hollywood community all her life. But her talent shined, she persevered, and became a star. What an incredibly courageous and amazing person. (Like somebody else we know.)
