Ya, Reihmer's (nasty) tweet had me gasping too but then I noticed there were no exclamation marks at the end, and knew it was a fake.

Ugh - I am so torn. I'm still trying to decide if I should get a peace pendant or not. I like it and I really regret not getting the infinity one (as a science/math geek it would have been a cool double meaning for me) but hubby and I have been trying to not make ANY unnecessary purchases as we have a big house project that we really need to start soon and are saving every penny. He told me if I ~really felt I had to have it to go ahead, but I'm feeling guilty and thinkiing I don't truly need it and I could probably find a peace sign for a quarter the price just without the AFL connection.... Not really expecting advice - just kind of thinking "out loud" here..... So, do you want us to talk you into or out of it?  I went to a hippie type art show in the park last week and didn't have any jewelry that worked. Wound up with some leafy thing but was really wishing I had the peace pendant. So I ordered it. May not wear it till next year (who am I kidding, I'll wear it as soon as I get it) but I'll be ready. |
