Fandom Fitness: Preparing For Ish

Now that we've entered the month of Ish, it's likely that very, very soon we'll be in full-on flailing mode, what with a new single coming, photo shoots for single and album, video shoot, etc, etc. We've had more to get excited over in the last few weeks, but I've noticed that some fans are seriously out of berting shape. This is unacceptable, people! This is not going to be a sprint; it's a marathon, and it's essential to be in top form. Consider the flailing you've done recently to be a trial run. If you ended last week feeling a bit worn out, it's time to shape up a bit. Here are some helpful tips to prepare you for the months ahead:
Sleeping habits- get used to getting by on next to no sleep. How silly will you feel if you get a good night's sleep, only to find out that you missed out on flailing over a pap pic or an unexpected Red Carpet appearance? Remember that Adam is an international star, and you must be ready to flail with fans from anywhere in the world at any moment. You can catch up on sleep in 2013 when Adam is working on album #3.
Food- stock up on items that require no cooking. We all know how easy it is to burn down your kitchen while you're engaged in stanning. Energy bars are good. So is ice cream, unless your power gets turned off because you've called in sick too often and get fired. Avoid that if possible—you need electricity to run your PC.
Family- begin now to alienate them. Drop hints about how time apart is healthy for relationships and encourage them to find other hobbies that take them out of the house. If you have children, now is the time for them to learn to fend for themselves. Once they're out of diapers, they can be trained to fetch your energy bars and ice cream.
A proper exercise regimen is important. By which I mean for the wrist and fingers with which you vote in online polls. Whether it's VH1 or Rate The Music or "Sexiest Man in the Milky Way Galaxy," you must be quick and limber. Remember to warm up properly and stretch and forgo any non-essential strenuous activities such as combing your hair.
Make room on your hard drive for new pics and performance vids. Do this by discarding unimportant items such as family photos.
Befriend the clerk at your local bookstore so that s/he will be sure to set aside copies of magazines in which Adam appears. Yes, it's embarrassing, but not as much as going up to the counter for the seventh day in a row asking if they've gotten the latest issue of Icelandic Vogue in stock yet.
Stock up on essential supplies such as small paper bags with which to prevent hyperventilation when a Gate occurs, and aspirin for the headaches caused by listening to hours of radio to catch Adam's single.

Monte was interviewed by Liam McEwan on this week’s Adam Lambert Hour. Once again, Liam gives a great Adam Lambert show along with an intelligent interview of Monte.
Here are a few highlights from Monte’s interview:
About working with Adam: “He is always working on making it better.”
His favorite thing about working with Adam – the spontaneity.
When they were in the band together, Monte would give him a song and “He would take the melody line and Adamizes it.”
Will he be part of Adam’s next tour: “No talk about when the next tour will be.”
Monte said he has only heard little bits of the album. He has heard the studio version of “Outlaws of Love” which Monte described as a “death metal version”. I am certain that this was Monte’s was of not saying anything about the album. And Liam (the interviewer/DJ) confirmed this after the interview.

Claude Kelly: we’ve worked together several times. for the 1st album we were just meeting and it was fresh off the Idol tour so things were a bit hectic.
for his new album thing were much more relaxed. we got to chill and work at a normal pace. and let me tell you, the music is kick ass!
