I'm curious why people assume Javi has bought followers, isn't it likely a lot of Adam's fans have started following him now they've gone public?
"Follower for hire" usually has fewer than 5 photos and close to no followers while following large numbers of people. If majority of one's followers present like that, it's a dead giveaway.

Maybe but I'd fall into that category and I'm not for hire, I have no followers on instagram and no posts, stories or pictures, I just follow people to keep up with their career and find out what they have coming up.

Didn't the last one enjoy his fame as well? Are his IG followers or non-followers important to any us? Adam is happy with Javi. So maybe we should let them live their lives and love each other and not sweat or make issues of the little stuff. The only thing that matters is how Adam feels about him. JMO.
One can make someone else happy/be a good partner/etc. AND be an attention w**e at the same time. Those are not mutually exclusive. I agree that buying followers is not a good look. Also, I don't buy the "let them live their lives" argument in this case - if you choose to broadcast any part of you life online, celebrity or not, you're inviting opinions - if you wanted something to be private you'd keep it as that, no?
My only point is if Adam loves the young man and he loves Adam, some fans not liking him nor wanting him with Adam mean nothing. He is going to go with his heart every time. Fans picks for him or dislike for Javi will not matter. But yes fans are free to voice their displeasure. But as long as Adam is happy then I am happy for him. I hope his personal life and career will give him all that he wants. So I will try to ignore the shots at his love as Adam will do what he wants with his personal life, lol.

When your followers grow in an instant by 10k and majority of the accounts look like that, it's clear they're not just low-activity real person accounts like your but rather bot followers purchased in bulk. I work in PR and Social Media (sadly) is a part of it, dealing with that ish every day. We've stopped doing contests because of how easy and chep it is to buy likes and followers these days. You can literally buy half a million followers for $10.

And you can also buy them for someone else. I‘m not saying, that happened here, but it’s possible. Then that accusation would be even unfair. And who cares about how many followers Javi has anyway? Adam is happy, that is what counts for me. Until now, I only see a cute and happy couple.

Every single time Adam finds somebody and is happy, the criticism starts...every single damn time.
Who the hell cares whether Javi suddenly accumulated 10000 nosy Adam fans, or whether he "bought" them...all I care about is whether he makes Adam happy and treats him right. The rest is up to them, IMO.

I don't watch Javis account that closely to know but i can totally see Javi gaining a few thousand followers, glamberts who are interested...if it happened in lets say 24 to 36 hours ok, it is probably bought and no, that would not not be the best look, but why would anyone who just recently gained a number of followers buy more...
Or maybe after a big press release his number jumped?

Javi seems to have bought himself ig followers. He gained over 8000 followers suddenly and all similar accounts, I must say that I have zero respect for that. Zero. These ”followers” are made in sweatshops in Asia. Don’t shoot me now, but I also don’t like the way he is enjoying his new fame. This is my opinion. That’s all. I'm curious. Do you think Adam is an attention whore as well? Because he bought followers as well in the past on both Twitter and Instagram. Or maybe someone bought it for them and then it's alright?

From Javi: He’s kissing Adam’s hand (you can see Adam’s shoulder) and writes „My goal today get to u ❤️.“ Direct link to the IG story. Apparently from their weekend in Cabo.
