I vote for the 48 track triple album! Oh, yes, I'd be up for that, too! And, Lulu, this GIF!! Perfect!! But WTH is he saying?? It's Canada, so I should know this, but I can't remember...anyone know what that big beautiful mouth is yelling in this gif? This is from "Music Again" @:47 "look into my eyes, baby eyes"

This is from "Music Again" @:47 "look into my eyes, baby eyes" Linda: Your lipreading skills are impressive. The "H" sound in "hide" cannot be seen on the lips. The D sound in "hide" is articulated at the same part of the mouth as the "S" in "eyes." The "P" in puppy and the "B" in baby are made with the exact same lip movement. So, the only visual difference between "hide, puppy, hide" and "eyes, baby, eyes" is the difference between the UH sound in "puppy" and the I-E sound in "eyes". That difference is very subtle. But, when singing, the I-E sound is usually articulated as an UH or AH vowel (for more open resonance) with the EE tagged on to the very end. So, for all practical purposes, your translation has a much visual validity as the actual lyrics. Yeah, I know, a speech therapy lesson on the thread. BORING. But, it is a slow day. Just for giggles, look into a mirror and silently mouth (not exaggerating anything) "olive juice" and "42." What does it LOOK like you are saying????

In connection with this conversation, I hope you've all seen this video--it's hilarious. It's from a site called "Bad Lip Reading" where they take videos and dub new dialogue to them that appears to match their lip movements.

And it is always good to know the puppies are safe. 8-)

Kelly praises Adam on a UK TV Chart showBless Kelly's little heart; she could have widened the crack a bit more here. Although I also get the feeling the interviewer is a fan. a) she asked the question and b) added a couple of words of her own idolator.com/6033392/kelly-clarkson-adam-lambert-uk-chart-showAt about 9 minutes out on the 1st vid she's asked about other competition show performers. justgill, I LOVED the fact that this story was picked up by idolator.com, and with an Adam Lambert-centric headline (even though Kelly spoke of other artists, as well). Idolator is a site that I check regularly for pop music news. Despite its name, it's not an American Idol site, and it reaches a wide audience. I love their coverage of Adam.

Thanks, murly. Very funny.
Just saw this ad on the TV, and thought it was appropriate for the Adam fandom impatiently waiting for new music.

OK, I've been having that Claude Kelly song on repeat.
It's fucking AMAZEBALLS.
I really hope Adam sings it (or some variation of it) and it makes his album. It is such an amazing love song, and it's a total earworm!

Is anyone else having trouble playing the YouTube videos on this site? I can click on "Watch on YouTube" and watch it just fine when the YouTube page opens up, but I used to be able to play them here. I don't think I've made any changes to my options that would cause this.
