Q102Philly Q102 Philly Ouuu @adamlambert is kicking @jamesmaslow's butt in our Hot Boy Bracket! The #Glamberts don't mess around! ow.ly/6O2F5I've been voting on this one because I have a soft spot in my heart for both Q102 and Z100. Without them, WWFM would not have had such a great start. So, if they want a few hits on their web site, for their advertisers, I am happy to oblige! Q102 was even playing the Aftermath Remix! They are Glamberts, I think. Voting for hits and of course Adam should win. DUH. Love Q102..and thats were I met Adam!!

OMG thank you, Lulu! Now that you've laid it out, it all makes perfect sense! I can practically hear the music already! ;D This sums it RIGHT up for me. Now we need a deluxe* version where we have head shots of all the key players (yeah, I know, it will never fit on an image that will fit on our screens). Damn, but it has been a labyrinthine journey (to stay in theme with NoAngel's perceived "enchanted" line of Sauli's). It's amazing to think one day we'll look back on all of this and laugh and play Remember When ... *sigh* But in the meantime, Adam,

Lulu: But where the hell did you get that picture of me? (Might have been nice if you'd asked my permission before posting it for everyone to laugh at...speaking of which...) Hoppers, bit rude, gotta say, you calling me a "nose-picking troll." Not all of us can have lovely green tresses like NoAngel. Besides, I like to think I'm cute. Maybe when Sauli complained that "things are wrong when you can not even stay in the yard without the hairy guys" he was referring to us fans.

It is so heartbreaking that we have this revolutionary, benevolent genius who can certainly be considered instrumental in bringing us all together. Without advent of digital music, perhaps we would not have YouTube and Twitter and the ability to communicate with friends around the world in the palm of our hands. I've long credited my iPhone as being part of my obsession with Adam. I used to watch TV in bed, but I changed to watching YouTubes of Adam. And then his iPhone confessionals and even had a SuperFan app that was essentially a Google search that would pull stories from all over about Adam (I got more sophisticated than it after a while though ) I love that I had him sign it when the first one was retired. Adam is a visual, international artist and perhaps many of us would not have been exposed to him without the genius and innovation of Steve Jobs – an incredible human being who revolutionized this world. #RIPSteveJobs This seems very true to me, susie. Makes me think of one of the tweets I saw posted about Jobs on the NYTimes site: That's me. Things I've never imagined. I'm amazed about how much I've learned about music this way. And how much I've learned, on my friendly little MacBook, about all of you. Whenever I see an Apple product, I think of Douglas Adam's explanation of why The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy outsold it's competition: it was mainly because it had the words "DON'T PANIC" written in "large, friendly letters" on the cover. To me, Apple products always have this "DON'T PANIC" implied, especially for technophobes like me, and I think this visual/psychological friendliness is largely due to Steve Jobs. Makes a big difference, designing products that are not only good but also likeable.

To me, Apple products always have this "DON'T PANIC" implied, especially for technophobes like me, and I think this visual/psychological friendliness is largely due to Steve Jobs. Makes a big difference, designing products that are not only good but also likeable. [nods] IMO, Apple is one of those companies that was truly shaped by a single visionary. He definitely didn't do it all by himself, of course, but his company was melded out of his personal thoughts of what a computer could and should be. Our now Internet-driven world would look truly different right now if it wasn't for Steve Jobs. His influence on computers and computer interfaces over the last 30 years has truly changed how we live and interact as a society. #RIP ETA: Think about it. How many people now have computers and rely on them in at this point in time. How much we rely on them for buisness - banking, industry, retail. For pleasure - movies, music, hobbies. For information. For education. The Internet has truly revolutionized how we perform just about EVERYTHING. However, the internet can't work the way it does today unless a huge number of people are willing to purchase and use computers. IMO Bill Gates is probably a smarter techie than Steve Jobs. Definitely has an edge in business. However, Bill Gates did not know how to make computers user friendly (how many of you still remember operating DOS-based software?). He needed to {ahem} "borrow" Steve Jobs ideas to formulate Windows. Once the mouse-based platforms came out in the late 1980's / early 1990's is when computing really exploded. Computers weren't just for the geeks anymore. EVERYONE could use them. And, more importantly, wanted to.
