Talk about dredging up old material. He's been mainlining medges for months now. Keep up, People!!!! IKR? :  Gold YSL boots were soooo pre-Glam Nation. It's been all about the Medges ever since. Speaking of, watching the first Boot Camp round of "X-Factor" and tripping at the randomness, but also intention of this whole process and continually thinking, "Thank FUCK those producers knew what was up and DID showcase Adam from early on." Call it pimping if you want, Michael Slezak (and perhaps it was, but fortunately in Adam's case, it was not at all unwarranted), but so glad those involved were able to spot his ability from the throngs of competitors and put him front and center from the get go. It just freaks me out to think that one lazy or clueless first-level producer could have been the difference of him not being put through to the next round, then the next. And at any point, if they decided to go in a different direction, we may have never even heard of him. |

In all seriousness, think back to the quality of Adam's high school "Airband" vids. Quick camera capture of an awesome performance, but almost "please-turn-this-off" crappy quality. Fast forward just one decade. Check out the quality of the iPhone vids from Russia and Quebec. I'm not sure this fandom would have coelesced together with technology from even 10 years earlier. Definitely not in the manner it evolved, through communal sharing of performances. |

I was just watching the SO WHAT performance from the AI8 finale and remembering how I laughed and thought - no more chorus boy blending in - when Adam came out in the Jeans/Cargos and boots while all the other guys were in generic white pants.
