Well, given all this, timing the REAL album for next year seems like the right thing to do. What I want to know is: Is Adam getting anything from either of these releases? Are they being put out with or without his blessing? Is Monte involved in this and he is getting anything out of it? I'm wondering if the album was pushed to next year because of this? And i'm also wondering if they might be considering pushing the first single to next year as well? Because if Adam does any promo for the single in November/December, it would benefit these (probably) unauthorized albums. And I highly doubt these releases are done with Adam's blessing because they muddy up the image he's trying to build as a pop singer. They are mounting a worldwide release, they cannot possibly let their promotion plans be affected by this unauthorized BS. They have too many details, schedules and issues to coordinate and ink without turning tail and running from these weasels. Take One hung around way more than a year. It was still often the album I saw on the shelves at Target 1.5 years after the fact. This is not going to go away. I would bet it's a pain in Adam's ass, but he's not going to let it affect his VERY LARGE task at hand, which is completing, launching and promoting his dream album. I still think he delayed for the killer collab opportunities that came up and to get his promotion in line. If anything, they would want to get the jump on these parasites, but that just wasn't going to happen logistically, it looks like. It's fucked, but we've dealt with it before. Adam probably had some idea it was coming and had to say, whatever! And WTF that cover?? UGH!!! |

The question seemed pretty bizarre to me. I wouldn't have been so surprised if the question had been "So- have you heard anything about when Adam's album is going to be released." That seems like a real question to me, not his status with the label. But I love Shirley's berting, and I can't wait to see if she has something new for us. |

How does this Take 2 or whatever release negatively affect Adam (other than monetarily if he receives nothing from sales)? It sucks, but how is the average music buying public going to hear about it? If they see it in the store or on Amazon and buy it, so what. If they are a fan and don't like it, so what. I've bought a bunch of albums by people I am super fans of and didn't like the album. Didn't stop me from buying their next album (just don't play the one I don't like). Are any of the songs on this going to get any promotion or radio play? How in the world are average fans going to even know about it? When Adam's kick ass official album comes out, it will have all the promo and hopefully a bunch of radio, TV, etc. appearances. I just don't see how the second bastard album will hurt him or his new album except in the pocket book. But since he didn't apparently have anything to do with releasing it, he wasn't counting on any income from it anyway. I did the same, and cleared the cache and re-logged in but to no avail. And I am a Superfan now at level 5 and coulc have calked up some votes but  :-/ 'be careful of what you ask for....you might just get it...' and I agree...we are so far behind on the twitter acct that not sure it is wise to split our efforts now. Except that Tokio Hotel SEEMS to have an insurmountable lead in the fan army category, as far as it is possible to determine..... I changed the browser to Firefox, signed in with FB instead of Twitter, marked to share the votes and it let me vote AGAIN in the FAN category with 18 points per vote. I got to the limit earlier on Chrome with being signed in via Twitter and sharing (18 points points/vote as well). I really think there is no way to win any of the categories if Biebs fans are involved...However IMO it is important to show that Adam's fans are interested/voting EVEN if we do not win. I love Cheeks and The Husbands. the picture thingy is just adorable  One question, to get 18 pts. you must have been signed in and sharing on BOTH FB and twitter at the same time (or you ran into a bug that is to your benefit, yay!). When you switched browsers did you log into a different FB or twitter account? or the same old ones? |
