Not having picked the single yet is not really a big deal. They could decide which track to go with at the last minute and Adam will keep saying he doesn't know up until he has something to announce. Doesn't mean he doesn't have an idea. Pretty sure they have decided which track are potential singles and those last studio sessions were finalizing those tracks and once the mastering and final edits are done they will pick which one will be first. Ok "Not having picked the single yet is not really a big deal" Can they make a selection within a week or so.. I would think it would take a bit longer to plan the release of a single. I'm thinking it might be pushed to 2012 now because I'm seeing an insurgence of christmas music hitting the scene which seems a bit early. Last night on ET, they mentioned Beiber/Carey collaboration on a holiday cd. I'm just disappointed because I've had my heart set on the single relase like right now! They can choose the single the day before! It's all done digitally and on-line. There are no more physical singles in the US. They wouldn't do that though. I'd say, judging by Kelly, we won't know about the single anymore than 1-2 weeks before it drops. But, that being said, I don't think it will be this month. I think the beinning of Nov is more likely. I am anxiously waitning for a tweet from anyone about a photoshoot. |

Unless we get our allotment of votes for EACH category, I think aralid is correct and we need to vote for only 1 of the categories. It seems like the others in "Must Follow on Twitter" have a huge head start on votes (unless MTV is going to somehow prorate them?) so it seems like it makes more sense to stick with the Fan Army one. OT: While I totally agree that Steve Jobs was a visionary, the press is getting a little ridiculous! I heard on the radio this morning that he "invented the mouse" - No, the mouse was invented at Xerox Park (along with the basics of the visual operating system that was 1st used by Apple and then later by Microsoft) . What Steve Jobs did was recognize the potential and bring it to the public. Pretty sure that one category does not take away from the other. It specifically says you get more votes by voting in more than one category. |

Zinnia, I so appreciate all your time and effort on the translations, and postings. I really look forward to reading about Sauli's regular life...which is actually pretty regular. (except for Adam sighting times) He has a pretty positive perspective on things and displays such a "good natured" sense of humour. Google translator just does not cut it ....Your real translations let us "in" on a truer Sauli. Thanks again!!  what she said! |

I know it says but if you have used all your votes, i'm level 4 so I have 200, you are not able to vote anymore regardless of the catagory. |

ok I'm on the ledge again. I'm having a debate w/an Adam Fan. I say the single is coming out soon as Adam said he 90% sure the single will be October BUT my friend says, he twitted that "he doesn't know anything yet & that the single hasn't even been picked" OK which is it? This. I truly think they likely have the single down to one or two candidates. IMO, it's the promo scheduling, details that are the issue right now. What they were proposing during first announcement: Worldwide release is a big juncture. Kelly is doing it, but she's had it spread out a bit. I would imagine Adam would hit hard with radio, then immediately TV and some simultaneous print, if possible. (That one will be a timing issue since national print is not the most flexible entity unless timeliness of cover stories built into concept of magazine, like People and Rolling Stone.) THE THING TO REMEMBER IS WE DON'T KNOW ANYTHING, BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THEY DON'T KNOW ANYTHING. To assume the single has been delayed by virtue of Adam saying "as soon as I know, so will u" is a big leap on my opinion. He hasn't given anything to indicate the single has been pushed back other that a little ishyness. Remember, he also said, "I'm working as fast as I can," which would bring the onus back to him. He's got a LOT of details to bring together in a short amount of time. He's trying to do that. Adam could have been doing photo shoots every day of the last two weeks and we would be none the wiser. He has gotten VERY GOOD at keeping lids on things he doesn't want known. The diamond thing yesterday is proof that they worked together on something and not for that tweet, we wouldn't have the first idea that anything even happened. And as it is, we still have no freaking clue what it was for. |

We are all going to go NUTS when Adam's single finally comes out..Some of us might have cardiac arrest... I know he loves the art of surprise..All I know ,is that missing him has placed tears in my eyes,always ready to flow.  |
