I'll ammend my previous post to: "Neil swings at anyone who he perceives as swiping at his brother" Its actually quite touching. However, I wouldn't take Neil's anger as gospel, unless it was backed up by a lot more information. ITA about Neil's protectiveness of Adam. But I'm guessing that Neil doesn't spend his time online lurking glamberts on Twitter and fansites. So he has an opinion about the whole issue probably based on way more information than we have. He's in LA and presumably in communication with Adam. Like I said, it proves nothing, but it's interesting that he chose to respond to this tweet. And like Mys*&@^#r50 said, it's also interesting that Adam hasn't said anything in Monte's defense. It'd be easy enough to tweet something about it. Adam's feed was full of speculation yesterday.

Well if no one confirms or denies monte's involvement, we'll know soon enough. There will be a single to promote. If there is an issue Monte won't be behind the guitar.

If Monte was involved, I don't see Adam publicly calling him out on Twitter. It's tacky and I am sure he doesn't want his personal biz like that out. Esp since it could make it to legitimate gossip sites. It's just a cloud of negative shit he would want to deal with privately so he can focus on the bigger picture at hand--his new album.
I mean, he could tweet something but I just dunno if he would. They are friends yes, but they also have a professional relationship and doing so would reflect badly against his professionalism no matter how badly Monte may or may not have behaved. We'll see!

Oh, I definitely can't see Adam calling Monte out publicly for all the reasons you state. But he could very easily come to his defense publicly, in a way that fans would understand and would probably fly under the radar of gossip sites.

Small Adam mention, although what we want is the album update. (is it "soon" yet?) LOL shirleyhalperin shirleyhalperin 'The X Factor' Vs. 'American Idol:' Who's Leading the Battle for Talent Show Supremacy (Analysis) shar.es/bHfo91 hour ago "Legacy goes a long way. It’s a common tale at this point in American Idol’s 10-year run: for every winner, there are a dozen more finalists who faded into obscurity, for every runner-up signed, another got dropped… Still, Idol has a legacy, it has Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Chris Daughtry, names you can hang your hat on. It’s made a career in entertainment possible for people like Jennifer Hudson, Adam Lambert and David Cook -- talents who otherwise would have struggled. For that reason alone, Idol has tremendous home court advantage, while X Factor, with its equally spotty success rate (most Americans would be hard-pressed to correctly ID Leona Lewis as a winner), has a long way to go."

I agree! The only way Adam would say something on Twitter would be if it's NOT true. I was surprised he didn't say anything last night, to be honest.

So the fact he hasn't said anything raises eyebrows. Unless he doesn't feel it has any merit and doesn't want to address it...however that would be eyebrow raising as well seeing as how he wouldn't be defending Monte's honor so to speak. LOL. IDK...I am really caring too much about this.

[shrug]
I will be the first to say that "I know nuth'n".
However, I'll also say - having dealt first hand recently with slight miscommunications leading to nuclear-sized implosions on a recent project - that now is not the time to state anything publicly. All involved parties need to figure out what page they're on and hash out their issues behind closed doors.
Who knew what? Is this true fuckery or was advantage taken of something said or signed without full comprehension? What was actual intent?
There is potential for a lot of gray areas here, and there's a lot at stake. Adam and Monte need to figure stuff out. And in the meantime, keeping their respective mouths closed, especially on public forums like Twitter, is probably the best decision for both of them.
