Monte seems a little touchy and pissed off on twitter. I dont know how to bring it here. I wonder what he means when he says `Its great seeing who my real friends are though `... @monterrific Monte Pittman @adamadamadam3 because @monterrific is getting all of his facts together before he comments. I wanted to share a great experience from last weekend, and to thank so many of you for your kind support.
Last weekend, the growing group of volunteers to 1n10 (the nonprofit that supports LGBTQ youth) walked in the AIDS Walk. I've mentioned before that we have developed a team name Adam Lambert Inspired Volunteerism Everywhere (A.L.I.V.E.). We now have a large sign with the name of the team that was provided by the Walk organizers.
After the Walk - our team name was mentioned from the main stage and all the 1n10 staff were so happy. They feel such a bond with Adam's fans now (and of course Adam).
Also, since I volunteer on a couple of 1n10 fundraising committees, I can report that there is always a lot of "Adam fan love" to go around. I have thanked a few people on our site previously that acknowledged donating to the OUTDoors Camp held in Sept. Kado (the Camp Director) expressed how much the extra support meant to the kids, who flew in from all over the country for this very unique camp.
One ATOP member I did not thank is wilkie who gifted 3 of Adam's peace pendants to the youth. The 1n10 committee will come up with a cool idea on how to award one of the pendants to the youth, and then possibly use the other pendants as auction items for the 2012 brunch. The goal is to get a bigger drop in center for the youth. So, thank you wilkie and everyone else for helping the goal move forward.
Also, fans in other states are asking for info on how we got our team going and for some of the materials (which we are happily sharing). This Adam Inspired Volunteerism process is intended to "unfold". :-)
Just one other quick thing we are doing this month - there is a large diversity conference being held on Oct 19 with large and small companies participating. 1n10 will have a booth and will be giving out some of the remaining FYE CDs for prizes. So, Adam's CD will be announced each time some one wins that particular door prize throughout the day. To me, the joy in life is connecting wonderful people in the universe in a variety of ways.
Anyway, bottom line is that you are loved by a group of staff and young people that you may never meet, but they love and appreciate all of you nonetheless!

Hmmmm..... what is so very disturbing about the 'taste' tweet is what the Adommy crays have deluded themselves into believing they mean.
Which of course is ADOMMY LIVES and is REAL! See, take that the rest of the fandom - we knew it was real all along. Their cray has just been justified (pukes)
They have even gone to the urban dictionary to get the *wink, wink* REAL definition of salad dressing. Go there with a #warning if you must, but I don't recommend it.
Who the fuck are these people???
They really disturb me :-/ >:(

Guys, you do realize that that fab Ashton Michael shirt/vest combo was paired with harem pants.....he wouldn't....would he?? You know darn well that he would... :-/  I am guessing that is where his harem pants came from to begin with..  Just really hope he doesn't keep trying to wear the mendges with them |

I've been ignoring this, but this is starting to really get to me, so I have to say something. We don't know almost *anything*, guys. We have some pieces of information and a WHOLE lot of implies. We need to remember that we really, really do NOT know these people - and chatting with them once over a beer or receiving a twitter from someone does not mean knowing them. Adam and Monte have had a relationship for YEARS, and I strongly believe it is not our place to pass judgment on Adam's friends. Now, of course, we are all entitled to our opinions, I completely agree with that. But when we do more than expressing our opinion here, when we start harassing Adam's friends on twitter, and changing wikipedia pages with hateful stuff, it makes me sad, because I am part of this fandom too and it reflects badly on me, too. It makes me not proud to call myself an Adam fan, because I don't want "Adam fans" to be known as crazy people over-protective of Adam. And by the way, Adam does not need our protection. He needs our support, of course, by buying his stuff, voting, etc. But he is a big boy and he does NOT need us as a fandom, like a big collective mommy, to start figuring things out for him, or defending him against someone who *we think* may have done something bad to him. Craazyforadam, and a bunch of others who have expressed what I am about to say right now, thank you. Of course, this is a discussion-based fan site, so everyone is free to express your opinion, but it is VERY valid, I believe, for people who are lurking to also see that there are fans like me, and Craazyforadam, and others who are not happy about where this discussion is going. On to happier thoughts, I am incredibly excited about new music, the photoshoot, the fashion, and the industry buzz about this new album, so yay! I think new music will come out soon, and that's really a reason for a whole lotta yay!!! s  Just got on the thread..been logged in all day and left my puter..LOL.. I knew the proverbial s**t was going to hit the fan today. I haven't read it. But I can tell you, I LOVE THIS POST!!!!! It sums up my feelings about my stanning in general...Thanks, Lifetraveler!!  |

I'm not aware of anyone "here" who is harrassing people on Twitter or changing Wiki pages, so I don't see this "we" you're referring to. IMO everyone is only in control of and responsible for their own behavior. I can't control what the whole fandom does, and while some things make me shake my head, what can I do about that? My focus is Adam and I'll continue to support Adam. And yes, I trust Adam completely and believe that he is an adult and fully capable of handling his own affairs. It's not my role to be his mommy. However, as a fan I have my own opinion about things and I try to express them as best I can within the limits of written communication, as do we all. Every fandom has its crazies. Every fandom has people who are OTT. It's just a fact of life. I try not to be one of them, and that's all I can do. YAY! |

Do you really care whether they're fantasizing about Adam licking ranch dressing off Tommy rolling around in lettuce? |
