ETA: The CV songs that I really like are not one the list of 6 that are listed for BFM. 15 Minutes of Fame/Pop Goes that Camera, Glamorize, CTF, and several others are missing. As of my knowledge, 15 Minutes of fame, Pop goes the Camera, ect. aren't CV songs at all. Why on earth they would be, they are nothing alike CV songs. Citizen Vein was a genuine band that played rock, while the songs that you list weren't played by the CV band but digitally composed and performed at clubs, like the Kiss & Tell performance on Youtube. If the Malcolm dude wouldn't have to be secretive over the album, if the songs would have been published as genuinely though over and okay'ed tracks, it would have been better to publish two albums (or EPs), one with The Circle, Rough Trade, Avoid etc CV songs, and other albums with the disco tracs like Glamorize, Kiss & Tell and Oh MY Ra.

@adamlambert Adam Lambert Seems as though the single will explode in November. I'm sorry for the delay- but trust me, it's worth it. The song HAS to be perfect! AAAARGH! Well, I wasn't one of those who had a feeling that it was coming soon, as we didn't have a release date. Hopefully it comes out well in time before the christmas freeze!

***SCROLL WARNING**** TL;DR we're probably talking about something completely different now ;D ___________________________________________ rihannsu and others who may feel similarly, I think it's human nature that we all interpret things (especially heated discussions) through past experience and culture (family and otherwise). I read through yesterdays thread again today and noticed some things. First off, I myself wouldn't characterize it so much as a montegate as a begformercygate. That was the catalyst, the thing that set everyone off and they were angry or interested in in various ways, many of which had nothing to do with monte's role or lack of one in the release. That lead to people trying to understand in the midst of many feeling strong emotions that Adam had been wronged somehow. There were many many different viewpoints, no two were absolutely identical, but I don't think anyone was alone, even if somebody didn't see another poster agreeing with them, I'm sure several lurkers were nodding their head and cheering you on. Whether we make our points passionately, or dispassionately, or intelligently, or goofily, or in a round about way feeling totally inarticulate, we will reach some people and cause them to think and feel, and not reach others. Only when we don't post at all do we have no influence on fandom thought and culture.Related to that, no matter how much at moments we wish there were, and people give it a try or two out of frustration, there are no fandom police. Everybody is going to do whatever they think is best with communications to Adam and Adam adjacent people. This is infuritating at times, naturally, but sometimes I think the perception of what is happening is much bigger than the reality, and that can lead to problems too. The Steve Cooke wikipedia thing is in my mind a perfect case in point. Steve Cooke misinterpreted something, which I don't blame him for, it happens, he knew Adam had tweeted upset about the bastard albums and connected the dots wrong. Adam fans rushed in to bolster that misinterpretation, trying to distance themselves and apologize for fandom I guess, and in the process reinforced the meme that a segment of adam fans are out of control cray and thoughtless haters who were victimizing him. You can see Steve's statement and the responses from fans on his public facebook here: www.facebook.com/cookemusic/posts/382646139980Again, fans DIDN'T appear to attack him at all, unless it wasn't through twitter or facebook (I read back through to make sure). The other thing is really, we're just fans, not friends or co-workers. Nothing we say has the power to influence Adam's decisions, or anyone else's except possibly some media and corporate people who don't want bad publicity.
