I think this discussion is still news and if people want to talk about it they should be allowed to in the current thread because this it's too confusing to have two threads with the same discussion. Just remember to keep it civil.

I just finished the book, The Talent Code. I know. I know. I will stop talking about it. But, I have a request.
In the third section the author discusses master coaches and the enormous influence they can have in developing talent. He points out practices and philosophies great coaches have in common. I am sure we all can think of a teacher or two who had a great impact on our lives. Reading, I thought repeatedly about Lynne Broyles, Adam's childhood voice teacher. I would like to send her an email/message just thanking her for how she nurtured, coached, supported and helped Adam become the artist he is today.
Do any of you ninjas know how I could get in touch with her?

Cassie, unfortunately, it will simmer until either a statement is seen or it's not listed on Amazon anymore. Actually, cassie, we had all moved on. Yesterday's thread was wonderful and happy and full of love, until the end of it. I was very surprised when I woke up and saw the way that thread ended up after such a wonderful, Twittery day! IK....I was still awake and totally surprised by the turn....weird. The day was ending so well too. |

Monte has said over and over again in interviews, the quality he admires most in Adam is his loyalty. Monte may have agreed to something without knowing what he agreed to. Welsford is the slimeball. doesn't that make Monte sound a bit naive though? He's been hip deep in this business for over 15 years, working along side one of the most savvy entertainers ever to work within the cut throat music industry so IMO there is no way that Monte would agree to something without checking the legalities of it thoroughly and making sure that all his Ts were crossed and I's were dotted. Monte would need to ensure he couldn't be sued by RCA/19R for infringing on their rights to Adam's name, image, voice and so would Welsford. Since it's clear that Monte and this Welsford person still have a close working relationship it seems doubtful that Monte is/was completely in the dark about this. That said, Adam is a grown man and I am confident that he can and will handle his business and personal relationships according to his own desires and feelings. Thanks for the welcome back ;D ITA...and I don't see any way that Monte's hands are clean in all this. He knew - Adam didn't. End of story for me. |

But with all the different opinions, here's what I don't understand:
Don't we all agree that Adam has shown nothing but support and loyalty to his friends in the past? Why do we assume it's any different now? Why are do we think we know what the right thing to do is, more than Adam does?
