Both Adam & the exes said that "creative set back" Does this mean that whatever songs that Adam submitted earlier were not good enough, and that they want him to re-do it in diffrent ways? is this why he's still in the studio, rework on the songs.
I know an artist wants their song to be perfect, but perfect is subjective. He has to have a deadline.

GAH!!! All these pics!! He looks incredible. I do have a soft spot for those PFLAG ones. So natural and just absolutely gorgeous. Here's something that was discussed on Twitter that may answer the question about "Why hasn't a single been chosen?" Katy's peeps did a huge schmooze effort for the PDs and invited them to these awesome parties to give them an exclusive listen to the music AND (I've heard some rumors) that they were able to give feedback on what they thought should be the lead single(s). IMO, this results in a sense of "ownership" for said PDs (not in a bad way, but that they feel part of the process). I think it's a genius move and maybe this is why Adam said the single isn't selected yet. I don't remember it happening for Adam last time but several news media people indicated it happened for Kris. Not a fool-proof strategy then 8-). |

Gelly THANK YOU for the great shaved hair/jeweled head pix! And thanks everyone else for posting such pretty pictures this afternoon too!  I was reading a travel book at lunch today and came across a passage that was very apropos for this Adam #2 journey:
It was my good fortune to be wrong; being mistaken is the essence of the traveler's tale. What I had thought of as the simplest way of getting there ... turned out to be odd and unexpected. Sometimes it seemed like real travel, full of those peculiar discoveries and satisfactions. But more often it was as if I had lost my footing in London and had fallen down a long flight of stairs, perhaps one of those endless staircases designed by a surrealist painter, and down I went, bump-bump-bump, and across the landing, and down again, bump-bump-bump, until I had fallen halfway around the world.

Are you talking about that PD who heard a snippet of Kris' non-single and spread the word that he was a "Q4 priority"? We all see how THAT turned out. :  |

Wal, thanks for posting the picture. Can never get tired of staring at him. A little story: I had a Comcast technician at my house couple weeks ago to fix my modem problem. He ended up has to replace the moden and download some software. The laptop was in idle and sometimes clocking mode when waiting for installation. I was so worried that the background screen saver pictures will pop up... they are all Adam pictures, a few from Detail magazine. I was thinking to myself at that time should I touch the mouse so screen saver will not pop up ? or should I just leave the room and pretend I don't know ? Luckily, those pictures never pop up. ;D  |
