HSM, may I ask why my post was moved to yesterdays? It was more in response to what Carrieb said about the interview where Adam said he was paid in tequila shots.... And it took me a while to find that interview and wanted to share...

in the rolling stone interview it says, he earned 1800$ per week. At that rate, he'd be making approx $90K per year, which would put him in the 28% tax bracket, leaving him with approx $71K per year after taxes. I don't remember how long he was a chorus boy in Wicked. He did it at one point, left, then came back again. But I don't think he was doing it for years and certainly not long enough to save up a huge nest egg, live in anything better than a studio apartment, or pay his father back. (I clearly remember an interview around the time of Father's Day in 2009 when he talked about finally being able to give his father a big check to pay him back for all the loans/gifts over the years.) I also seem to remember him saying that CV made no money at all -- I think he said the most they made was free drinks at one of the bars. February 10, 2007-October 28, 2008 Adam opened with the play and must have been paid for rehearsals prior to the opening.

I'll bring it over. ETA: Captured! Look under your post. Awww...I remember that one! It was cute!

Well, life moves on! I was a little bummed about pushing back the single release, but the important thing is that it's getting released before the end of the year. Now the most important thing is that this single is good, and all worries will be forgotten!
As to the album release, we knew it was coming next year, so Q1 sounds good to me.
All speculations about why the album might have been pushed back, change of direction in the album, etc - I choose to not think about it too much, 'cause it would drive me crazy!! I have my worries, but I just really really hope the album will be really really good.* Pretty please with a cherry on top!
*and by really really good I mean successful. I know that I will like it no matter what, but I want a whole bunch of people to like it!

I have a rare day off and what happens? Sick in bed with a bad cold - GAH! But this gives me the opportunity to catch up and just have to roll my eyes with all the drama the last few days. That poor horse has been dead many times over! A couple stopped over to pick up boxes I am shipping to Manila for my trip in December (presents and all - beats having to lug them in my luggage). They had a young foreign exchange student with them from Finland. Told the girl I only knew one Finnish word - Rakastan! She was surprised and asked how I knew it. Told him - because of Adam. She started flailing and squeeing which startled the couple (guess they have not seen this side of her since her arrival last month). Then of course we started gushing over Adam (also surprised this couple since they have not seen this side of ME). I may just have to invite them over so this young girl and I can flail together and maybe, just maybe, introduce her hosts to the awesomeness that is our BB. Now, where is that cough syrup? You always have the best stories! Sorry you're not feeling well. Passing the time with Adam, always helps me get through.

I had to join because I must say I am really surprised anyone would question Adam's support of his friends. He has shown this over and over again (and even to other non-friends in the biz that he respects). I don't believe those of us on the outside have any real idea what this "debt" is, or even how he has repaid it thus far. It seems to me, though, that he gave Monty a job without having to audition, and has expressed verbally (and thru his eyes during performances) nothing but respect. Being a loyal friend is one of the MANY personal attributes that I love Adam for. I trust his judgement.
