Well it is late here, 1 am, but i'm not feeling tired at all, it is a slow day and i really want to share something with you. I think it all started with me asking myself if my parents would be a fan of Adam if he would do their favorite kind of music. Well, i was born in Germany but my roots are in Turkey, my parents immigrated to Germany in the 70s and they love classical turkish music and don't like pop music that much. I am sure they will love his voice. But i wasn't sure about Adams androgynous look. Till a few weeks ago. It was the 15th anniversary of the death of Zeki Müren, a very famous turkish singer and as far as know/remember he had a great voice (if it would not have been that late here, i would have searched Youtube for videos of him). They showed pictures of him in turkish television and my parents talked a little bit about him and that they have not missed a concert and when they were in Bodrum (where he lived and it is a beautiful bathing resort btw) they used to go to his house and hoped they could meet him. In a time without internet it was stanning . Well, i knew very little about him since I'm not a fan of the music and I was a little bit to young (I'm in my twenties now). I was not aware that he had a very effiminate look. This album album cover reminds me a little bit of the FYE cover ;D. A little quote from his Wiki page Müren dressed effeminately, wearing large, ornate rings and heavy make up, especially in the later years of his life. In many ways, he had a pioneering role in rendering the Turkish society more accepting about homosexuality. He, with his distinct style, remained a highly respected artist throughout his career, and in a sense, paved the way for many later, more openly gay or transsexual Turkish artists. This makes me think of Adam even more and on the German wiki page they say that when young homosexuals have difficulties with there coming out to their parents they say "I'm like Zeki Müren". Well, after seeing/reading this, I have no doubt, that if Adam would start making classical Turkish music, they would love him. But well, I'm very happy this will not happen, cause then I would have to listen to that kind of music and had to listen to it in my childhood way too often. I'm really not a fan of classical turkish music. I'm going to bed now, it's really late here and I'm starting to feel tired now

By the way both of my kids are adopted and were insitutionalized for many years in Ukraine. My daughter was 13 and my son was 7 when we adopted them. At risk children, that could proably never be adopted.
She is now 21. Never thought I was getting thru to her, but today made me so proud because we talked about many other things, and i could see our influence coming thru and thinking things thru.
Thank you for all your comments. It was heartwarming. I've had many tears today, but all good tears.

I am doubtful about "Reload." The implication is doing something again, and Adam has been clear that theis is now and next, moving forward, not repeating. IMO I'm doubtful as well. And if Adam is smart (if???) this album will have a code name right up until release just to prevent oopsies like this one. ITA Buders! ( ;D the if)

I may be wrong, but pretty sure what you are saying here, doesn't fit the time frame of Adam auditioning for Idol. Oh, and the comparison of Monte bias = Idol bias, sorry, big holes in that for me. Four things remain the same, 1) Adam's success is the reason they are being released now 2) Adam's name is on them (not Monte, not CV) and they (especially BFM) are being marketed as Adam's new album. 3) These sleazeballs have used Adam's real release twice now and have impinged on the marketing and promo that Adam, his label, and management are paying a lot of money for. Most importantly, 4)Adam doesn't support it and is pissed! It is his voice. Therefore I support Adam. I couldn't care less about Monte. Sorry, that's the way I feel. Nobody knew Welsford was screwing Adam over until AFTER IDOL FINISHED. Cooke stated that he joined the project BEFORE Adam left. So what about the time frame doesn't compute. If Adam had signed a session contract with Welsford Monte had to have signed something too and WE DON'T KNOW what kind of contract Monte himself had. I don't have a problem with your numbered points and I don't understand why nobody seems to understand that I AM NOT DEFENDING WELSFORD OR THE RELEASE OF BEG FOR MERCY!!!!! NOTHING in my post was contradicting the points you made. I appreciate that you aren't on the lynch Monte team but I don't see how supporting Adam or even condemning this release has to equal stringing Monte and now Steve Cooke up by the fingernails. My specific problem has been from the very beginning the guilty until proven innocent mentality that is being demonstrated by SOME of Adam's fans and those same fans questioning the loyalty of people who aren't ready to join in on the conviction. Cooke is now being treated just as despicably (or more) than Monte has with even less evidence of any wrong doing. I'm getting almost as disillusioned with this fandom as I did with the U2 community. Everyone talks about acceptance and unity but when the shit hits the fans everyone starts pointing fingers as passing judgement. Sorry, I thought I could come back but I think I'll just have to step back until this whole thing is resolved.

So, this Cooke guy is involved? What do the videos he and Monte did have to do with BFM? I'm confused. I dismissed his whole spill after he lied about the Wiki page. When he started out with a lie, I couldn't believe anything he said after that! : From Cooke: "what's a poor boy to do?" FYI: Being poor doesn't give you the right to do things that are wrong. Their are lots of poor people who aren't resorting to doing things that are unethical. Karma...it will come back to bite these sleazebags in the butt! ;D Cooke and the videos have nothing to do with Beg for Mercy. Cooke is only on the Paramount Sessions thing which is what the videos are for and he had the same session singer contract as Adam for those songs which are basically Take One and Cooke's session songs remixed and packaged together. He has no personal connection to Adam and is like a million other struggling musicians who have to take their break where they can get it. Isn't it a bit much to expect him to ditch his career because his bosses who has no control over chose to screw over someone else. Hopefully he's learned to read his contracts a little better but what's done is done. Adam can't take back his session work any more than Cooke can his and it put food on the table when he needed it. In the real world unfortunately sometimes principles are a luxury. I've lived paycheck to paycheck my whole life so I can understand where he is coming from. I worked for a slimy underhanded backstabbing boss for eleven years before I was able to move to Florida and once here got stuck with a boss who bounced my paychecks every single week for years before I was able to find the lovely couple I work for now. As for the Wiki page thing I think he just didn't understand how it worked and unfortunately some Adam fans bragged about getting it shut down confusing things even further. I don't blame him for being pissed at Adam fans after all they are fucking with his career and reputation. Then he should just talk about himself, and shut the fuck up about Adam. He accused Adam right fans off the bat with something they didn't do, setting the tone for how many people are viewing him, and is reaping the effect of that right now. NO ONE bragged about shutting down his wiki, "fans" that were so anxious for some bizarre reason to ingratiate themselves with him actually apologized for "crazy glamberts" doing it when it was actually longtime Wiki editors going about their normal Wiki business. His new statement that he posted today may be complimetary towards Adam's voice, but it is anything but complimentary about Adam's character. And that pisses me off. "why does he hate Malcom so much?" Jeezus. He started this whole thing on an adversarial note, and has everything to gain and nothing to lose from a release that Adam does not support, so pardon me if I don't take him at his word on anything.

I am not a Monte apologist and care nothing about him. If Adam is "pissed" about this thing and doesn't support it, then me too. End of story. 8-)
