Yup. Steve Cooke's statement *is* fair game. How it Steve Cook relates to Adam (and even Monte) based on today's statement is also fair game.
The old stuff about just Monte and BFM has been hashed.
ETA: [laughs] You guys beat me to my own explanation before I even could hit the "post" button !! ;D

Still don't see the Monte lynching or stringing up by the fingernails. I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder. :-/ HSM- I have to say I do view this as new. Steve Cookes statement is new and I think that is relevant to today's discussion. I don't see anyone beating up on Monte. Discussing Steve Cooke being an idiot seems relevant.

@fleckingrecords: Poll: Will you be buying Adam Lambert - Beg For Mercy? - bit.ly/oOWW7aNOT giving them their customary hits on this. The tweet is very misleading. If you click on the link, they are actually VERY clear about it being the bastard album and have Adam's tweets about it verbatim. They are lobbying against BFM and have already tweeted that the response was 100 percent against. My question, if none of Cooke's drama has to do with BFM, why the hell is he flailing around in the thick of it to begin with? He's insinuating himself into the middle of an issue that's not even about him if what he oh, so circumspectly kinda sorta rambles on about incoherently. (And BTW, even with that vapid vapidness, he has none of his facts straight, as Whatfun pointed out.) I don't need a court of law to tell me someone is a sleazebag; I can usually figure that out with a couple of duplicitous words/actions and my very own instincts. Believe me, I'm one who will usually give someone to the benefit of the doubt far too long and it has been to my detriment on more than a few occasions. Am I calling the police on anyone? No. Am I even tweeting that person or persons my not-so-impressed opinions about their behavior? No. Am I trying to understand the very, very convoluted facts as they are revealed? Yes. But from every bit of information I've been able to ascertain, I cannot cast aside what Adam (whom I deeply trust and believe has proven himself repeatedly with his words and actions, and to my instincts, a countless number of times) has said point blank in an effort to defend someone else. I'm sorry, I just can't.

And WORD to your entire post, especially those last 2 paragraphs which were perfectly expressed.
