I will say this then sign off - I had no idea anyone ever watched or cared about baseball any more. Now COLLEGE FOOTBALL, whole different story. ROLL TIDE Boomer Sooners! And it tickles me when posters say "y'all". Wonder what the international fans think. I would dearly love to hear Adam say "y'all". Heck, maybe he already has. I'll give a cyber dollar to anyone who can find an interview where he said "y'all". @5:07 close enough? ;D eta: Yes, evergreen remembered too!!

Anyone else having problems voting for the O Music awards? It's been over 24 hours since I last voted, but says I'm still maxed out.... but then when I tried to "vote and share" it posted that I'd voted on twitter!!! ??? Weird!!! Still not letting me vote, dammit!!! :-/ I get the maxed out notice occasionally when I first try to vote - but I just refresh and/or re-login and that usually works.... about this voting....are we spitting our votes between the two categories, or are we supposed to pick one? I've been voting on both....dunno.....what's everyone else doing??

I am so sad that I have NO ONE left in the ALS or NLS playoffs to root for!! Seriously, Tigers, Rangers, does anyone even care??? [Written by a bitter Rays/Phillies fans who can't believe that she came so close to the dream series. Oh well next year is another year!!!] Q3 - you have to listen to me here. Oh - Happy Birthday!! Yes, I care. I care for a team of misfits and castoffs - a team with one of the lowest payrolls in all of baseball. A team with one of the richest histories in sports. The Tigers. No one pays attention to them. They play under the radar. They succeed under the radar; and when they move into the playoffs, even the TV commercials don't feature them. They weren't supposed to be here! But they are. And, I am giving them a 'shout-out'! They beat the Yankees. Huge! Now it's another team. Texas Rangers. After tonite, they are down 2-1. Okay. Tonight's game was fabulous~! I'll let you know just one reason why I care. My boy is part of the Tigers. But that's not why you should care. If you are looking for a team to root for, think for a minute about the Tigers; about Detroit. Once Detroit was referred to as the western Paris. Its architecture is breathtaking. This population is not defeated! They have found inspiration in many ways. If you're looking for a reason to cheer, you may want to look to a team that represents the struggle we face to become present and equal in our society. Go Tigers! - - - that's all I can say.

And by "ya all" you mean them, right? Not me. Not me. I love sports. Bowling can be quite exciting.

I must admit to being worried, despite it being awesome that the write-in nomination worked, it does mean much of the fandom has split their votes which may well work against us...... Oh well, will just do my bit and vote as much as I can - can't do more that that!!

Most of the superfans (at least when I looked yesterday) were voting for twitter only until the time runs out in this category. The voting cheerleaders at AO are all voting for twitter only and trying to get everyone else to, and that's pretty much most what I see in the MTVO "shares" on Adam's twitter feed. I'm voting twitter only. Also, if anyone can't vote and should be able to, trying clearing your browser cache of cookies etc. that should work. If not, try a different browser, I'm using chrome and IE.

Did any of you catch Adam's remark about Ourobaros, "Sauli and I "tagged it" one early morning at BM. (Went to Urban Dictionary). Working on the visuals, difficult piece of art to find a good spot for "tagging". Yeah, I caught it. Didn't go to urban dictionary though. Just assumed they peed on it. In my neck of the woods the rednecks tag a lot of things. Am I right or wrong?

Aralid, thank you for the interesting story about your parents. I had never heard of Muren and enjoyed reading about him.
