since i had gone to bed after writing my story, the other thread is dead now and it is a new day for me, I will answer here. 8-) interestingly the instrumental part of the studio version of soaked sounds very familiar to me to something i heard a long time ago. It is the melody and the arrangement (especially the violins) i think, but i cannot tell you what it is specifically. Maybe someday i will find it out. aralid - Lol, from the first time I heard Soaked, I thought "what are these Turkish violins doing here?!?" I'm not unfamiliar with this music; The older generation Turkish Jews here listen to it. Though it didn't remind me any one tune in particular, because I'm not that familiar with Turkish music. I'm like you - not exactly my cuppa'tea... But maybe to Western ears it sounds exotic?

gelly YW LOL and look what I found! This is especially for you and csharpminorAdam Lambert Greek Style Lataaja: nitenursestat, 11.10.2011 The song is Zorba's dance by Zorba's Bouzouki band and is available on itunes. Awww Listening to this music makes me miss your beautiful country. OMG aurora THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!! I wonder who did this!!!! I'm sitting here at the office LMAO!!!!! This is one of the most famous Greek songs worlwide, by one of the most important Greek composers ever Mikis Theodorakis! As soon as the music started I was wondering what are they going to do when the tempo changes and the way they were dancing is hilarious!!!!! But at the same time it feels so good to see Adam dancing Greek style! So warm inside! Thank you again!

inscrutable7 inscrutable8 Brief Adam Lambert mention in this fabulous series of essays and photographs: huff.to/r4NLac www.huffingtonpost.com/paul-v/born-this-way_b_1003991.html#s400035&title=Jackie_Beat_AgeUnless you've been living under a rock (or inside a bottle of Absolut), you must have heard about the recent rash of young people who have committed suicide due to severe "bullying." I hate that word. To me, that's like referring to rape as "severe flirting." These boys were tormented and tortured. Now, whether they were actually gay or not really doesn't matter. The mere fact that they were perceived as gay, and therefore "less than," does. And if this can happen in 2011 -- after Will & Grace and Ellen and Rosie and Elton and The Scissor Sisters and RuPaul's Drag Race and Adam Lambert and Jane Lynch and Neil Patrick Harris and Glee and Ugly Betty and Modern Family and all the mainstreaming of homosexuality? -- we're in big trouble. Read more.... Even if it is a brief mention , I absolutely love the fact that they place Adam's name among these superstars.
