YES...that's what rubbed ME the wrong way....in doing so, he's actively promoting it. In a sense. Monte loves this material. He's always said so. He's always wanted it released. MONTE DOES NOT CONTROL THE TIMING OF THIS. However, I don't blame him for wanting to share something he has loved for so long. He is completely open in that this is old music and that he and Adam have or are working on new material. In his letter, Monte makes the decision to buy or not to buy up to the individual. He's proud of what? That new ADAM LAMBERT album? : It doesn't even have his name on it....(and in my opinion, the music kinda sucks, so he's being rather free and loose with Adam's reputation.)

Let me add one more thing...
Adam DOES potentially have leverage over this. He has lawyers, the money to pay lawyers, and potentially even a legal standing based on accepted business practices.
Monte has none of those things.
Monte cannot realistically win any fight. All he can do is explain the situation.
Frankly, I don't understand why he isn't more upset that *his* name is missing. But I think he figures that he can't win, so all he can do is what he always hoped to do....get people to listen to his music.
Frankly, if I were Monte, I'd be trying like hell to get my name back where it belongs. However, I just don't think Monte has any leverage.

My real question is whether Eber is speaking for Adam as well as himself now.

A few days ago the link to the BFM website has not posted here (at least it wasn't workable), so are we doing it today? I thought the more the link to this webside is mentioned, the higher would be its position in a google search. Q3 comment: Links posted here will not move BFM up in Google Ranking under the current organic search algorithm used by Google. Going to the site via Google will cause it to move up on the search results AND it will move it up on your personal search results. Since Google switch to personalized search results, people get the sequence based on their personal searches not based on what happens globally. So if you want to go these, and I do not know why anyone would want to go there , use the link and not Google or Bing.

People speed-read over this type of disclaimer. Adam's words and the intention to mislead are still there. Yes. I agree with you, absolutely - it's just a weak CYA attempt on their part. I just can't see why this slug Welsford can't have legal action taken against him for falsely using someones name/words and attaching them to their own project? Surely, besides being unethical, it seems illegal to me.

I am not encouraging anyone to give the site hits, but it's more than ridiculous to try to hide the link to that site. IMO

[wry grin] If you have no control, you can either shriek, or you can go "whatever'. Monte has chosen to go "whatever". Monte knows quite well that the timing and W&co PR approach is completely using Adam's 'Reload' album. He is not dumb. It helps with BFM sells. Business is business. It's not a 'whatever' for Monte. And it's 'Fuck', quoting Adam.

My real question is whether Eber is speaking for Adam as well as himself now. [shrugs] That's between Adam and his dad.

...and I'll just about Dadbert. Well, I replied to Eber's "Well said." I told him I thought his son's statement about the situation was pretty "well said" too, lol.
