I believe that the DJ Drifta remixes are on the Rough Town Adam Lambert-Steve Cooke album not part of the BFM album. My understanding is that he remixed the Take One tracks. Though he had confirmed to a fan on twitter that the song he remixed was Beg for Mercy. Maybe check his timeline again. Oh I could be completely mixed up. I have been traveling and was moving when all that was going on. Based on the Amazon description, there are remixes on The Paramount Sessions too.

I've finally caught up reading through all the comments. I'm exhausted.
The only question I have is where or when did Adam say we shouldn't buy BFM? All I see him saying is that he is pissed but nothing about not wanting us to buy it. If BFM is released, he and Monte will make money on it. I don't think he has a problem with Monte over this at all. Just like he did with the release of Take One, he made a statement letting the Twitterverse know this was not his new album. I don't think we will hear anything else from him unless he is specifically asked about it in promo interviews and he probably won't say too much then either.
Happy Belated Birthday to Q3 and all the others that I missed.

On the BFM recording.... I have been reading and lurking for days(seems like weeks) and have been scrolling past all the posts, speculations, etc.... Tired.... Just wanna say, Stop. Leave Monte alone. Move on. Who in the fuck will care if Adam#2 blows up. It doesn't matter who, it doesn't matter if. It is all in the past. It's all about next..... remember, Adam said that once a long two years ago. Lessons learned???? No? Maybe??? Hope??? Love Yes Let's stop telling people what to do!!

Does Adam need help in the PR or HR department? Is there a memo I have missed? Please fan base, I AL am incapable of running my own life, I need help and you (my fan base) are the chosen ones to do so? : . Whether Adam and Monte get along, how well they get along, whether they stay friends, whether they can trust each other …..All this is a personal matter between the two men and I see no reason to butt into that with any opinion whatsoever. Now on the other hand, I have seen multiple tweets from Adam, both over the years as well as recently that speak to the following: - It saddens Adam when the fan base is fighting - It saddens Adam when we are upset on his behalf or about his personal affairs - He also has told us to leave his friends alone Why are we not honoring these Adam tweets? Why is the bastard album tweet the only one we are eagerly honoring? (which by the way, I agree with – not buying either). Just don’t agree with ignoring the rest. While Lisa’s rant was obviously terrible, in the end, the two guys made it clear that Monte and he had talked and Adam demonstrated that he wanted everyone to move on. Yes, he is a saint, I know. But my point is: Why is this request from Adam not honored? Why are we not moving on? Can somebody please explain to me, which are the Adam tweets I am supposed to honor and which I am supposed to ignore. I clearly don’t quite understand the rules here. So now I read with interest that some folks have moved on to now telling Eber what he is allowed or not allowed to do with his twitter account. GREAT! Sometimes this fandom is just such a delight!!! ATop and Twitter are 2 entirely different entities and what goes on there should not be put on the members here. I have seen NO member here tell those that are supporting Monte that they are bad fans. All I have read are their reasons why they have made their own personal choices. You too are entitled to make any choice you wish.

I have not seen anybody blame Adam for anything. Why would he be? My previous questions were sarcastic. JEEZ
Adam is probably legally obligated to stay quiet. Hence his father does a bit of the talking. I read the Eber tweet as a Lambert support statement for Monte, exactly because Eber probably knows about the shit flying here and because all three of them have used the direct phone lines in the background. No coincidences here.
I will do anything I can to hinder Malcolm Weasel from making any fuck bucks. But I refuse to join this negativity against Monte nonsense.
Done.
ETA: Just read your post Tinafea: I was talking about here. Plenty to go around.

I think Adam's tweets are pretty clear. He's tweeted many times about what a perfectionist he is and he makes it clear that these songs are not his vision and are not finished. He tweets that he minds.
Just like with Take One, Adam probably can't come right out and say "Don't Buy It" but he expressed that it made him feel sick to him stomach when people asked him to sign it.
adamlambert Beg For Mercy project is same as 'Take One'. some songs I worked on 5 yrs ago and never finished. This release comes as a surprise to me...
adamlambert Adam Lambert It is NOT what I'm currently working on, nor does it reflect my artistic vision. Some folks will do anything to make a buck. Fuck. 6 Oct
adamlambert I think both projects were mastermind (but I mind) by Malcolm Welsford.
Like I said, people can do whatever they want.

I am pleased that with such a complex set of circumstances and so many views, that the discussion of BFM and Monte's statement has remained intelligent and respectful here. Thanks!

I will admit I have not read the thread (after p. 14).

Guys - particularly when the thread is dealing with a complicated subject, please try to read at least the last few pages before you post.
This isn't a mandate, but it helps with ATOP Rule #3. Thanks

I left work and found out that there was a massacre at a salon in a very small town near me (I thought it was one where I used to be a regular patron) and for almost an hour I didn't know if the shooting (eight people killed, one in critical condition – worst mass killing in Orange County, CA's history) was the salon where I know almost everyone who works there. Turns out it was another a few miles away. So a relief that I don't know the people, but just as real that I easily could have. I've been thinking about every one of them and wondering, What if it had been them?
I'm sorry, I'm not in the mood to mince words or pussy foot around an issue. I'm sick of being diplomatic about something I consider deplorable so Monte apologists, scroll if you want because here it is:
• I don't believe a line of Monte's bullshit.
• I do NOT feel sorry for him one bit.
• Adam has made it clear how he feels about this.
• The entire launch of this project is the definition of exploitative whoring. USING ADAM'S NAME AND MAKING THAT PIECE OF SHIT ALBUM COVER PEOPLE? Seriously. For all the analysis we do of Adam, what he likes dislikes – we analyze things down to a strand of hair or piece of jewelry and they put up this 8th grade beginning graphics 1A artwork with ADAM'S FUCKING NAME ON IT and ADAMLAMBERTALBUM.COM as the URL at the time that Adam is ready to launch the biggest project of his life and PEOPLE ARE FORGIVING THIS???????
• Rationalize and spin all you want that Monte is a "Victim," I call bullshit on that too. If he made a buck off of Adam's fucking house being vandalized would we forgive him that? Hey, someone is mugging Adam and Monte didn't really know about it but the guy slipped him a few bucks to not call the cops for an hour or so, would we forgive that too? Worse yet, rationalize it?
• Monte is endorsing a project that is raping his friend's brand – a friend who has practically killed himself trying to establish that brand. He worked his ass off to create a superior product and here opportunists resurface (FROM A SHADY DEAL MONTE GOT ADAM INTO IN THE FIRST PLACE, I MIGHT ADD) and it continues to haunt him six years later.
• Apologize, rationalize and forgive all you want, but in my opinion, the whole thing is beneath contempt and anyone who endorses it and claims to love Adam mystifies me. Adam could tweet right now about how much he loves Monte and give a thumbs up to the project and I will NOT see it as anything but sleazy, opportunistic bullshit.
Sorry, to get totally raw, but I have fucking had it.
